This house was beautiful, and the yard and decks were fantastic. It was quiet, picturesque, and mostly well appointed/supplied. The only important criticism I would share is that when it indicates four bedrooms, sleeping eight, it is a bit misleading as one of the bedrooms is merely a sitting room that has a foldaway couch and the bedroom down the hall cannot exit to the living room or kitchen, without walking through that bedroom, so it’s not truly a private/separate bedroom. It would be better described as a three bedroom that can sleep eight. Beautiful home!

This was our second stay here and have booked next year already. The house is beautiful and clean. Incredible views from the decks. We bring our boat with us, the dock is perfect. We are able to run to many dock and dine restaurants from there. The owner stopped by midweek to see if we needed anything. Can’t say enough about how great the house and hosts are!

The Blue Pearl exceeded our expectations. Our stay was pure luxury. The host has thought of every possible amenity from the towel warmer to the kayaks to the gourmet kitchen. Having fresh steamed crab caught that day right off of the dock was a wonderful experience.

River front views

Expectations were exceeded! The house was beautiful, clean, bright and comfortable. The pier was perfect for docking our boat. Nice location for short trips to Solomon’s for food and drinks. Our stay was during a heat wave and the A/C had no trouble keeping us cool and comfortable when we had to hide from the sun.

Gorgeous house on the water

Lovely house with beautiful views of the water. Great hosts. Had a fantastic 5 night vacation and will be back again. Hot tub was superb. If you get lucky with the time of year you may see the Ospreys in their nest!

Fantastic location for a staff retreat

We loved it. Perfect and beautifully appointed in a great location. Loved the hot tub! Easy to find; lots of great little touches that made it lovely like access to purified water, a speaker, etc. Would definitely go again!

The pictures depicted the place perfectly! What an amazing stay with exceptional views. My whole friend group had an incredible stay. This house was beautifully decorated, fully stocked with everything we needed, and huge! We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay here. This truly is a luxury estate! We had an unseasonably warm weekend at the end of October. We used the kayaks and crab shack during the day and hot tub during the night. The river view from the hot tub is amazing. So fun to cook on the black stone grill outside. Kitchen was fully stocked with many appliances. The master bathroom felt like a spa. Beds were comfy. I must mention the attention to details that we noticed... the outdoor steps light up as you walk down them in the dark, phone chargers next to the beds, heated floors in the master bathroom and we couldn't believe how many kitchen appliances there were! This house does not disappoint :)

Relaxing week

We had a most enjoyable time at the Blue Pearl. The weather was perfect for kayaking, catching crabs and enjoying the hot tub. We appreciated the essentials provided and the well-stocked kitchen. This is truly a beautiful home- clean, well-kept and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous Getaway

The house was exactly as described in the listing. We opened the front door and instantly had a beautiful view of the water. The kitchen was well equipped and the entire house was spotless. There were plenty of areas to relax both inside and outside. We had to contact the owner for a small issue and his response was prompt and the problem was resolved. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come again.

Senior Ladies Trip

Took my mom (84), aunt (85), and cousin (77) for a 80) Girls’ week by the water. The house, location, and amenities far exceeded our expectations. Great thought was put into the design and flow. Well stocked kitchen and two decks for everyone to enjoy together or for some quiet time. This week was perfect, from checkin to departure. This is the best rental I’ve used to date. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much for sharing this gem with others!!!

Fun adventure

The home is stunning! Everything is high end from the appliances to the decor! I could not have found a more convenient location. Went fossil hunting, to the Maritime museum and best of all fishing and crabbing off the dock. The owners are very responsive with any questions. I would definitely recommend this beautiful Blue Pearl!

Beautiful and so relaxing

This home is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The view from the kitchen is stunning. The pier is perfect for fishing, crabbing, relaxing, and spending lazy, sunny, summer afternoons with family. All of the essentials were provided - soap, TP, paper towels, dish detergent. Our stay couldn’t have been better! Perfection!

Crabbing Vacation

Our stay at the Blue Pearl was everything we hoped it would be. We took our family to share the joys of being on the water - fishing and crabbing with our young grandchildren. My son brought his boat so we were able to crab in the beautiful Patuxent River and off of the pier. Our grandchildren were sooooo excited to pull up a crab trap and find a crab inside and then eat them for dinner that evening. The house was as beautiful and welcoming as the pictures portray. Everything was well stocked and clean. We would love to visit again.

A wonderful weekend getaway

We had a wonderful visit at this lovely property. Despite having a thunderstorm one of the days we were there, we were able to enjoy some outdoor time, kayak on the water, and even catch a crab with the provided cages. There was plenty of room for my family to relax and spend time together. Hope to come again!

Perfection!

We rented this property for a group of 6 moms for a long weekend. First, driving up to this house was beautiful. Farms on one side, water on the other. It was calm and peaceful. Walking into the house was like walking into an HGTV episode. The house was stunning! So much thought has been put into the home, from the decorative details of the ceiling fans to the conveniences of phone chargers in the bedrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked; the living room furniture was comfortable; all of the beds were comfortable and clean; and the bedrooms were stocked with extra pillows and cozy blankets. Even the modern pull-out sofa was extremely comfortable. Did I mention the electric window shades yet? How about the expansive primary bathroom with heated floors and stone shower? Wow! All 3 bathrooms were well-stocked with soaps, make-up towels, and plush bath towels. Everything about the inside of this house was perfect! Now, for the outside...also perfect! Both decks were comfortable and had amazing water views. At night, the path to the dock and the dock were lit by pretty blue lights. The dock house and fire pit area were bonuses! We didn't use the hot tub or kayaks, but they were clean and in great condition. I just can't say enough good things about this property. In addition, the owners are local, responsive and pleasant to talk with. We will definitely return!

Absolutely wonderful

Absolutely wonderful. This is a beautiful home on the water and it was immaculate. My grandchildren loved it because they could fish, crab, and go kayaking. The surrounding area had everything you needed as far as food, The last night that we were there we bought some steamed crabs from Calvert seafood and They were well priced and delicious. Shane was a wonderful host and we plan on doing this again

Great weekend

Beautiful property right on the water. Close enough to local attractions like Solomons Island but once you get to the house you might not want to leave! Loved making crab cakes on the blackstone outdoor griddle.
