Another wonderful stay on the Hill!

This is the perfect location to explore St. Louis and especially the Hill area. Lots of fabulous restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The deck overlooking the beautiful Piazza is such an added bonus. The apartment is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. We will be back!

Girls Trip to STL

My college roommate from the early 80's and I got together in STL and stayed at the "Room With a View". It was perfect for us (2 BR, 1 bath) and we LOVED it! It is right in the heart of the Italian neighborhood on the Hill and was no more than 15 minutes to anywhere we wanted to visit in the city. It was so comfortable and the deck overlooking the beautiful Piazza Imo was a huge perk about this property. We spent every night out there enjoying a beverage and enjoying the evening. It is right above the Gelato Di Riso, which we frequented every night we were there, no matter how full we were from dinner on the Hill. Everywhere on the Hill is definitely an easy walk from this property which we loved...along with feeling completely safe even when walking at night.

Great Apartment Great Location

The apartment was beautiful, clean, and the bed was comfy. The location makes it easy to get anywhere in St. Louis. The neighborhood is walkable and if you love Italian food you could spend two weeks taste testing your way around. It’s all good. The parking lot and one way street are best suited for cars and smaller SUV’s. We had a Ridgeline truck and we managed but it took a bit of care to park and get out of the lot when the street was parked full. You will hear church bells but I thought they were nice and not too loud. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic get away!!

Great location

Very clean and comfortable. Close to lots of Hill favorites and easy access to the rest of St Louis. There is a fairly steep set of stairs to get to the apartment.

Good stay for a small family

Family trip (2 adults, 12 year old, 8 year old) to explore St Louis. Easy drive to the arch, City Museum, and all the things around Forest Park. Staff at Marconi Mercado were very sweet. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood and stopping at the various bakeries and groceries. Pizza di Gloria was delicious, and who can resist staying above a gelato shop.Off-steet parking was a HUGE plus with how crowded street parking was

Home away from home

We've stayed at this location numerous times and it is one of our favorites. It is a charming, comfortable and well maintained. The location is perfect on the hill in a charming neighborhood. A designated parking space is an added bonus. Looking forward to spending our next getaway to St. Louis there.

Christmas on the Hill

Didn’t know our long weekend was Christmas on the Hill. What a great surprise, balcony overlooking the park was great for watching Santa and kids, Church across the street was roasting chestnuts. All the stores were bustling and in the evenings all the local stores had a Christmas Market which really nice. Location of rental was in the heart of everything. Parked our car in private lot on Thursday and never moved it, restaurants are amazing and a must is a hot salami sandwich at Gioia’s Deli (wow).Gelato downstairs excellent, coffee shops great. Oh did I mention bakeries! One piece of advice, forget your diet if you go to the Hill

The Hill Immersion

We had a wonderful week staying in The Hill. You can easily park your car and forget about it during your stay. One can walk to great restaurants & markets. We loved the location overlooking the park and fountain. By the end of the week we felt like part of the neighborhood. Our hosts were excellent. They were immediately available by phone when we had questions. I look forward to staying here again on our next visit.

Charming apartment with a great view

We really enjoyed this apartment! Location was ideal, in the middle of everything on The Hill, which was interesting, entertaining and peaceful. The pictures do not do the apartment justice. It is beautifully decorated and super comfortable. The back deck is spacious and overlooks the piazza. Neighbors were super friendly and welcoming. They talked to us on our balcony as they strolled the piazza below, giving great suggestions for sights and restaurants. The highlight was the golf cart tour of the neighborhood that Vince, a lifetime resident, generously gave us when we met him outside an Italian cafe. We also watched the video the hosts had provided recounting the history of the neighborhood. Highly recommend The Hill and this apartment!

Girl's weekend 2024

The site was amazing and The Hill was as dynamic a neighborhood as we could hope for. We met our neighbor and she was delightful. If there were any down side it was the 18 step climb to get to the apartment and the traffic on the streets (which the landlords had nothing to do with). We went to the gelato shop and sat on the deck/balcony enjoying the amazing atmosphere of this place.
