We came for our anniversary. Its gorgeous staff is attentive and friendly. Food was amazing at Drift. The room was very large. Loved the galley kitchen with dishwasher as well. Fully stocked with keurog, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, subzero fridge plates, wine glasses, etc. Steps to Clearwater beach. Will be returning

Absolutely stunning hotel. Great service and food options abound. The reason I am giving it a 4 star, is the bed is just not good. I've stayed at Opal Sands, Sand Pearl and whatever beds they buy are not good for me. The rest of the amenities were amazing (warm chocolate chip cookies, bagged ice, sub zero refrigerators in the rooms) - they spare no expense

we were told 10pm to leave pool and then after clean up we could use are and jacuzzi again the security comes up at 10pm then we go back in quietly after 11pm security comes in yelling like a power trip guy i told him nicely we will leave and explained to him that if we were not told to get in we would of left he flat out goes to me stop f.... lying to me just leave or i have you trespassed i was shocked to hear that and the bar employees as well when i was telling them that i wont be back here anymore i go every two weeks and stay with friends and family we spent almost 6k for 2 days to be basically bullied from a idiot like he was its sad because all that investment there and telling people yeahh we don't care you paid high dollar amount a night we trespass you if you don't follow my command as asked i just keep going back to sandp. and the opal next door theres no kicking out there if you're respectful and having a good time quietly

Great place! Will definitely be back here when I visit the area again. There are a lot of misc. Fees and unfortunately parking is not included for the rooms. Wish there was some sort of discount for guest but I understand it’s a hectic area in a prime location. Cleanliness was great and customer service was amazing.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Opal Sol over Memorial Day weekend. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We truly enjoyed every part of the property — the pools, restaurants, bars, and overall ambiance made for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The room was spotless and very cozy, and we especially loved the breathtaking ocean view. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. We appreciated the exceptional service, including flexible housekeeping and timely communication via text updates. Food and beverage prices were reasonable for a resort of this caliber. While we did save a bit by dining out on occasion, the hotel’s dining options were delicious and paired with outstanding service. Overall, we highly recommend Opal Sol for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation spot.
