The room smelled of musk and mold the whole time we were there. Turned off the AC for the first 4 days of our vacation because it smelled so badly. Luckly it was nice enough to have our windows open. And on our last night stay the room was flooding by the airconditioner. Water was streaming in getting all of our things wet on the floor. Right next to the plug-in. Such a fire hazard especially without a fire alarm in the room. Then they moved us to another room that wasn't even the same lay out. Had smaller beds so my fiance and I slept in separate beds. Asked to talk to a manager. No one around at all to talk to. Asked for a number. Nothing. So yeah terrible. If you suffer from asthma like me and my partner do, please do not stay in these rooms with the mold issues.

I liked the room, although i did request it to be cleaned every other day and it was not touched once our entire stay. We were basically only there to sleep anyway but it would have been nice if they came to replace our towels. But aside from that, i would stay there again. I enjoyed the hotel while i was there and i enjoyed the price even more.

The listing stated that there was no smoking. I assumed like anyone would that that meant the rooms. Nope! That meant the whole property. I had to smoke in the next door parking lot. Alone, uncomfortable and sometimes afraid.

Once again Pelican Pointe did not disappoint. The check in was quick, our room was ready before 3 pm and we were able to enjoy a full day at the beach. The room was spotless. Brand new fridge in the room. Bathroom was clean and shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided, which was great. There were beach chairs available to use during our stay. Beach towels were also provided in the room. Another great stay at a gem of a hotel.
