The room condition was not what we expected. Dusty and dirty. Scuffs on the walls. Multiple small repair issues needed to be made. Some were taken care of and others weren't. No lock on the sliding balcony door, which is a big safety issue for little kids or in our case, a special needs kid. This was fixed promptly. Since we lived only an hour away, we decided to leave the night before checkout because of the cleanliness of the room and sleeping comfortability. We weren't expecting luxury by any means, but we did expect it to be clean. We had to ask for a dust pan to try and clean the floors because we only had a broom. They gave us another broom, so we just piled up the dirt in the corner. The location, the beach, and the pools were all great though.

Was assigned room S212. I wish I could add the picture of the coach. It was absolutely disgusting. We had to place a bedsheet over all the stains. Bathtub coating was coming off. 2 inches of dust on top of the fridge. Thank goodness for the manager Jules. She found us another room. It was cleaner but the bathtub coating was also flaking off. I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless I was in a pinch or received some sort of great deal.

We’ve booked the Sunset Vistas for a one night stay. Great hotel. Our apartment is plenty big enough for the four of us. Being right on the beach makes it a perfect location for a beach stay. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back if we come to st Pete’s again.

Sixth time coming here and it’s really gone down hill the last 2 years. Cabinets peeling, floor tiles cracked, coating on the tub peeling off, dryer ruined a bunch of our clothes leaving black marks all over them. Lady at the front desk offered to do nothing. No maintenance being done at all

Early morning fire evacuation

I have stayed in this hotel many times. It has always been a great stay. This time was not as good. The tub was peeling, there was a fire alarm causing the guest to evacuate early in the morning and the elevator did not work. We were only there for two nights so we were not happy about the disturbance.

I did like that it is located right off the beach. Easy access with the bridge to the beach. I didn't like that we had to wait over an hour to check in b/c housekeeping wasn't done & the unit wasn't even that clean. Unit seem very old/rundown with lots of stains on the couches. Among other things. Issues with both tvs as well.

Relaxing Family Vacation

Comfortable accommodations for our family. Right on the beach, with every room having a view of the ocean. We had a few minor issues with the steam from the shower triggering the smoke alarm, and the main door to our room not locking properly, but other than that, we had a great stay. We even added an extra night to our week.

Went on a girls 50th birthday trip end of April. Loved the condo… perfect gulf view the pool was nice and the property was well taken care of. Especially, bc they were still rebuilding from Hurricane Helene. Loved that we had a washer dryer combo in our condo. Close to shopping and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

We have stayed at Sunset Vistas Beachfront Suites for the 3rd and last time. The 3 times prior it was a great experience and I would have recommended the property to any friend or family. This time it was very disappointing with the condition of the condo when we checked in, a half used water bottle on the kitchen table, dirty socks laying next to the bed in the guest bedroom, numerous outlets that were nonfunctional, kitchen cabinets with the faces peeling off, the dryer was full of lint and sand. Elevator was dirty and one was not working half the time. We were very disappointed from the past visits compared to this visit. I hope things go back to the way they had been maintained in the past, it was a nice little hidden gem before.

Great location and spacious. Unit needs to have deadbolt replaced as it malfunctioned and locked us in. Maintenance had to come and remove it to get us out. Housekeeping needs to clean mold off shower floor tiles and there was no toilet tissue in the master bath.

The resort was very nice great pools great access to the water. Staff was extremely friendly.. however all rooms I was told is privately owned the room that we stayed in N312 was filthy. The coating in the bathtub in the master suite was peeling we were unable to use the shower or tub in that room as you walk out of the bathroom. The carpet in the master bedroom was disgusting. The tact strips was sticking up and stuck into my daughter‘s foot. The room was not cleaned. We found crackers under the bed socks in the couch. The kitchen area was in very poor condition with cabinets peeling, the countertops were still dirty. We arrived late to the property and had to go back out to get cleaning supplies to try and sanitize and clean the room ourselves. We have stayed at this property for the last five years and we have always had an excellent experience. The owner of this particular unit definitely needs to at least clean the properly and it definitely needs to have the safety issues taken care of immediately!!! Very disappointed.
