Great spot. Very close to beach. Back patio is a perfect setting to wind down after a long day at the beach. Cool off in the party pool and have a cocktail. Bedrooms were spacious. Living room and kitchen area were large and great for our crowd to watch TV and relax. My wife and I enjoyed having coffee in the mornings in the sunroom that is connected to the master bedroom.

Worst experience ever

I booked this listing to take my wife and 2 yr old son on a short beach trip before having our second child. When I booked the vacation I paid for the added trip insurance just in case. Prior to going on the trip the doctor told us that they wanted my wife to take it easy and we did not know if we would be able to take the trip or not. When I reached out to the property owner/management they told me that they do not issue refunds. After getting the green light from our doctor, we were told my wife could go to the beach as long as she took it easy. The weekend we had booked was also the weekend that the south east had the ice storm. On top of that my kid got sick and we submitted a doctor's excuse for the VRBO insurance policy (sick guests are SUPPOSED to be covered under the policy). Long story short we were unable to go on the trip and we were told by both VRBO and the property management to kick rocks. Even though this property is stunning and my family and I were very much looking forward to enjoying it, I would not come to this property now if you gave it to me for free for the week of the 4th of July. I also will no longer be using VRBO for any rentals moving forward.So anyone that reads this BEWARE, and don't waste your money on vacation insurance because they won't honor it and you will be told that your case has been closed like I did.

When life gives you lemons


We were down on the island visiting family when their heat went out! As the temperatures dropped we decided to make the best of our circumstances
or as they say when life gives you melons
.make lemonade! We started looking at homes to rent for the remainder of our visit - then we stumbled across this gem. The house was perfect! Clean, well organized and mostly supplied with what we needed. The beds were comfortable and the house is in a great location on East Beach. One of the view original beach homes left, which made it even more charming. That back yard is serene! I would suggest this for a small family or girls weekend. That plunge pool is Heaven on earth! You won’t be disappointed!

Comfortably slept five adults and two children. Great neighborhood to bike ride and walk the dog. Short drive to the beach and the village. The pool was a big hit, the kids had a blast!

Nice vacation spot

We stayed at the property back in April and really enjoyed our time there. The pictures and description of the property were very accurate and there was plenty of room for us. We really enjoyed the outside patio area that had a fan and was enclosed so our dog could hang out with us. The pool was nice and we took advantage of that area as well. The area is extremely walkable and beach access is extremely close. Also only a 5-10 minute drive to get something to eat. Property management was extremely attentive to any issues and they resolved those quickly. We would stay here again.

Clean but needs updating.

The house was very clean upon arrival. The property manager was very responsive. I was told I’d get a text when the cleaners were done so I could enter the house, and I never received a text. Overall the house needs a lot of upgrades. One guest bathroom looked newer, but the rest of the house was very dated. There’s also a smaller house behind the pool. It appeared it may have been the owners staying there. They were constantly walking around the fence, and even using the fence around the pool to dry linens. It seemed very intrusive.

Very relaxing stay over the holidays with our dogs

Great location. We had some issues with the tv in the main room. The pool will be nice in warmer weather. Would like to have had better kitchen utensils. Sweet and relaxing.
