We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and comfortable. You can't beat the location.... just a short walk down to beautiful Sapphire Beach. The snorkeling was amazing right off the beach. The hosts responded right away when we had a couple of questions. We would definitely stay again!!

The condo had a nice layout and could be a comfortable stay with some attention to maintenance. During our visit, the coffee pot was not working, and although the host was aware of the issue, it hadn’t been replaced yet. The rugs could use a deeper cleaning, and the unit overall would benefit from some updating and more thorough cleaning. We also noticed some mold around the bathtub. With improved upkeep and attention to these details, this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.

This condo has several nice features. It is at the end of the building, upstairs which puts it closest to the beach. It was nicely appointed and clean. with a front closed gallery room. You can open the gallery windows facing the beachfront while keeping the sliding glass doors closed into the condo. I found it spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked. It’s also close to the beachfront restaurant which allowed for the live music on the weekend to filter into the condo when I opened the windows. Communication was good and directions were clear. I arrived at night in the rain and could not see the little electronic gate box or the building letters and condo numbers. Make sure you make an immediate right turn once inside the gate. Also park at the beginning of the D building even though you have to walk all the way to the other end since there isn’t any way to enter the building at that end. This location is close to the ferry and away from the more crowded area on the island side nearer to the airport and main city area.

The Beach

Perfect location you don't even need to go anywhere. The beach has it all chairs free, restaurants, coffee shop. Just amazing! Just make sure to tell owner you will be using extra beds so they leave the sheets. They did fix it so I can't be upset. Also there wasn't any kitchen towels or paper towels. I will still give a 5 star because that is little stuff that might have been over looked. Great beach stay!

Charming Condo

Enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was exactly as advertised. This was a girls trip with all of us ladies in our 50’s! We knew from pictures that condo was dated but none the less it was in perfect location. The condo was comfortable & clean. The communication with the host was excellent! First Timer

Family vacation to St. Thomas for the first time. The location was great we had minor issues, but they were resolved quickly. The only negative thing is there are not a lot of electrical plugs, you would have to use extended cords. But overall we would stay again.

Nice place close to the beach and ferry

We enjoyed our stay here. Easy walk to the beach, free beach chairs, near some other beaches. Small lunch restaurant nearby and nice dinner restaurant up the hill. Couldn't get the tv to work, but otherwise no problems.

D-36 is a good solid property that is just plain shabby. I rented for 4 weeks, went home after 3. Just couldn't continue to accept the low level of cleanliness and comfort. Here's why:Lanai is different. There's now a Murphy bed, and an inoperable futon. There aren't blinds, but instead gray drapes that match nothing else. Decor is nonexistent. There is no table to have "dinner on the porch" and look out at the water. The glass in the patio door had many fingerprints, and a layer of what I assume was construction dust still covered the door tracks.In the living room, the "comfortable couches and chairs" are a nice tropical style, but because upholstery on the seat cushions is ripped, the padding from the cushions is now misshapen, and is uncomfortable to sit or lie on for any length of time. The TV did not work; I bought new batteries. Wicker chest in the LR has holes on the top and side. AC didn't work at first.The kitchen has chipped Formica on couple doors. I found grease on skillet, silverware and plates. Vent tooThe master bath had pink mold on shower liner and black mold on grout. Someone else's used soap was left in the shower area. The Formica was peeling from side of vanity and medicine chest mirror was de-silvered. No outlets for curling iron, etc. No fan. The bedroom vibe was strange, because of the matted shag rug and a metal pipe protruding from under the bed. The bedframe sat on pieces of wood. Some random large items were stored under the bed.

Great location and good communication

This condo is in Crystal cove beach resort on sapphire beach. The location is just perfect. We have stayed at sapphire beach resort and sapphire village prior to this trip. All 3 areas have their pros and cons. This condo is steps from the beach and right next to the beach bar/ coffee shop. Very convenient for taxis too. And not noisy at all…minus the chickens :) The condo itself is spacious. It is on the second level and about 15 steps up to enter. Main bedroom has a king bed and we used the pull out couch for our daughter (typical pull out and could definitely use a mattress pad or mattress upgrade if adults were to use it) Two full bathrooms. Kitchen with basic necessities. Porch is enclosed with a futon and table, nice view. Some beach toys and a large cooler is available for use too. Parking was easy. We never really figured out the water temperature in the first bathroom shower, it would only be warm for about 60 seconds and then cold. The other bathroom shower seemed to always have warm/hot water so it wasn’t an issue for us. Checkin and checkout is easy with the instructions given by owners. Owners were quick to respond when we had questions. We would definitely stay at this property again. The only thing I would recommend to owners is to have a few more beach towels available. Thank you so much for a wonderful place to call home for a week!

Paradise!

You can’t beat the location! Steps away from a beautiful beach,and there are bars and restaurants right here. You can take a quick taxi ride to town! The water is perfect for a day at the beach and snorkeling!

A short walk to the Sapphire Beach Bar (1 minute) great beach. The only thing we look for when choosing a stay is location. Were only in the place to sleep, this was a great value, safe, secure, and the owners resonded almost immediately to every request or question we had. Will for sure be back!

Amazing location, steps from beach bar, boutique, coffee bar. And of course the beautiful sapphire beach. Parking was a nuisance due to construction, but not owner/host fault. Told you in welcoming email about parking, gate and door access, info about hot water, which we really never mastered. Had everything we needed. Great experience!! Thank you!!

Sapphire paradise with a few hiccups

We have stayed at several crystal cove condos over the years and love sapphire beach resort...just a couple of thigs that could have been better...the bedroom window was covered by the hurricane shutter so there was no natural light nor view out of the bedroom...theres no washer and dryer and the noise from the back of the restaurant is right at the door since the units next to the club area...other than that it was awesome.
