Overall this day was satisfactory. The hotel is extremely outdated which brings in the question cleanliness staff was fine. No one really stood out as exceptional. This would not be my first choice for future stays

If nothing else new mattresses please

Amsterdam is a older Hotel and could use some remodeling. It was fairly clean but has not been updated in a while. The walls are thin and I was woke up by the neighbors NPR and the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. They do still offer a continental breakfast which was decent and the front desk clerk was extremely friendly. As far as the appearance it could definitely use some maintenance, remodeling, new furniture and for the love of God new mattresses and pillows.
