Beautiful home very comfortable. Walking to restaurants was great. My only suggestion is more hand towels for the bathrooms. They get soggy after a day
The house was adorable overall and beds were luxuriously comfy! Perfect location to walk to town and it happened to be pecan fest so we mingled with the locals. Highly recommend signing up in advance for the bus winery tour; they took us out for about an 8-hour day of five wineries, food and fun! Only downfall of the location of the house it is on very busy street so it was pretty loud when you're trying to sleep. Friday was the worst probably because of school and commuters to work; quieted some on the weekend. We are cookers and cook on our girls trips; the kitchen could use some stocking, there was only one cookie sheet that we could find, some mixing bowls and things like that would be helpful too. Great stay overall and would definitely recommend and return :)
The house was very roomy for our group, and nicely furnished. We go on a family trip with our adult children each year. It can be difficult to find a place with 4 bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and equipment. We were able to walk to many of the local stores, restaurants, and historical attractions. If you are a late sleeper there is some traffic in front of the house in the morning during the week since the house is near a school, but being able to walk so many places made up for that. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.
The house was lovely - the historic nature has been preserved and it is updated for comfort. We could easily walk to see what the town had to offer. Our bedrooms were so comfortable, and the living space was perfect for enjoying the company of companions. We danced to the music of a selection of albums with a turntable. So fun! Highly recommend this house to all who want to stay in St. Gen.
We traveled with our kids and grandkids from all over the country to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary. The home was comfortable, spacious and well stocked. We could walk to town and enjoyed the games. Everything was perfect. The house was charming and worked great for our party of 8.
Cannot say enough goood things about this home. It was cozy and perfect for our visit to Sainte Genevieve. Ashley responded quickly to our questions. Highly recommend!!
Liked: Roomy, easy access, nice accommodations.
Didn't like: limited towels and washcloths for 4 people (would not have served 6 people as originally planned) Needed more toilet paper. Upstairs bath difficult to shower in.
Would definitely recommend and would stay there again!!
What is adorable, spacious place! We had so much fun both while we were staying in the home and in town! I loved that this was just a walk away from everywhere! Thank you so much for your hospitality! I highly recommend
We had a girlsâ weekend and the house was perfect, with plenty of very comfortable space, including ample seating at the table and in the living room. The four bedrooms and two baths worked very well for us. The beds were all extremely comfortable with high-quality sheets and bedding. We could walk into town for shopping and meals which was nice. The location is also close to wineries. All four of us would highly recommend this Gorgeous Historic Victorian home.
This charming, historical home in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri offers a convenient location within walking distance to stores and restaurants. The home offers luxury linens, a well appointed kitchen, and fun games for all age ranges. The furnishings are tastefully done. Our family of 3 stayed comfortably at the home but it would easily host a larger group! Great communication with host!
