We stayed at this property for three nights. The location was great and made it possible for us to spend lots of time together and not driving from location to location for food or entertainment. We had plenty of room for all of us to spread out when the little ones needed quiet for sleeping. The hot tub provided a stunning soaking view of the valley. We did experience spiders on the ground floor sleeping area that bit one of our family members. Hopefully, there is routine spraying of the property since it is a log home. Also, it is not a safe rental location for families with young children under the age of 5 because of the stairs and the stair railing that allows little bodies to stick their heads through. We were able to block the stairs with furniture to avoid accidents.
This house was cozy and had more than enough room for the 6 of us. The view from the spa is fantastic. Location to downtown and ski resort was just right. And communication with property manager was excellent!
Our group really enjoyed our stay at the house. All of my friends commented on a "great find" with its location, the size, and the overall "vibe" of the house. We had a few hiccups, but the management team's communication was excellent. For those planning on staying, I would recommend slippers/grippy socks since the stairs are pretty slick, and we had one person bruise their tailbone during the stay. The other is to make sure you have snow tires on AWD cars-- two cars had to be towed up the top of the hill after some snow the night before.
From early communication with the rental team, to the actual stay at this beautiful home, our experience was amazing. I had lots of questions, each of which was answered quickly and with care and compassion.
The house overlooks the beautiful valley of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We loved the hot tub, the kitchen (wow!) and coming together as a family over board games and conversation.
Thank you for a beautiful and memorable experience for all of us!
Stayed here with friends for a ski weekend. Great location and lovely views. Nomadness was a great management company and everything was so easy. Only points taken off was that there werenât enough towels.âDonât forget to bring a towel!!â - Smart Towel RG-400
The views and space are great for a larger group or family . The major downside is that the beds are extremely uncomfortable , I suspect they are super old , the mattresses were atrocious-squeaky, uneven, hard not firm.. Sleep is vital to then enjoying a day exploring . There is no air conditioning which likely is fine most of the year , summer -August can be brutal. The company graciously provided us with fans for every room. It very much feels like a rustic cabin which is not a bad choice but not for that price. On a bright note the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils.
This place was a lot of fun. The best part is the hot tub and view. The kitchen is really nice too. Stayed with 8 friends and everyone enjoyed their time.
Enjoyed our time there.
Property Management (gentleman) responsiveness was poor prior to arrival. Was really hot upon our arrival and would expect the management team would have opened it up prior to our arrival. New fans would help during summer months. Ran low on basic supplies quickly (dish soap, trash bags, TP, papertowls...). Great views and fun rustic vibe.
This was our first trip to Steamboat and we enjoyed each day. The house location is 10 minutes from many attractions and restaurants. Thank you for sharing your home and the many suggestions to enjoy our trip.
Two families (9 adults) enjoyed a fun filled, relaxing weekend in Steamboat Springs. The cabin was the perfect fit for our group. Plenty of beds and space to relax. The scenery was beautiful, too!
Cabin is very cozy with more beds than expected! Loved the natural fireplace! The rental company was very communicative and receptive to anything we needed
