Excellent location, ski in & ski out - loved it easy to get on the slopes and then back to condo.

Attended music fest / perfect location perfect location. Walked to all venues and skied as well. Again great location skies in and ski out location made a simple process. No lugging gear

Great place, great location

Not quite ski in ski out but close. In the winter I guess you could ski in but you have to walk about 100 yards to get to the run, super slight incline. The only reason I give lower stars is because the hot tub isn’t available and they could have let us know, super disappointed in that fact. It’s Covid just tell people the truth. Other than that the place is great.

Great set up for couple or individual. Remarkably spacious for one room and kitchen supplies, stemware, etc all great. Excellent location off base.

Great location. Ski in but not ski out.

Nice property. Great location. Ski in but had to walk a short distance to ski out. There were a couple of negatives. Our hot tub was closed due to covid however we could see many adjacent properties with a hot tub that was open. The other negative is a couple of things were broken in the condo. Ceiling fan didn’t work and toilet seat almost falling off. Overall I would recommend.

Great Place!

My husband and I loved our stay in Steamboat and the apartment was perfect for us. The place was clean and tidy and had all the amenities needed to make it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped. The check in process was easy and the front desk staff were excellent. We plan to come back and definitely recommend.

A wondeful ski-in ski-out condo close to the Steamboat gondola

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ptarmigan Condo complex. Condo was very neat and clean and well equipped for eating in. Walking distance to a grocery store and the main gondola area and the ski-in ski-out access makes this condo one of the best for the price!

Great location, well maintained and quiet bulding.

We stayed four nights and would stay here again. The location of the building is perfect. It is a very well maintained and quiet building. The underground parking and laundry facilities were two very nice unadvertised perks. We had bikes and we were able to store them in the underground parking garage. A couple of items that would have made our stay better were 1) The check-in procedures could have been more clear. It says check-in is not until 4 p.m. We arrived at 5:15 p.m. and everything was locked and no one was there. Had to call security and got the run around at first. Eventually we walked about 5 minutes to another Lodge to find someone who could help us. We did eventually get in to the condo after about 45 minutes. The second item was the temperature in the condo. Unfortunately the week we were there was very hot (temps were in the 90s during the day). Like most places in Steamboat, the building does not have air conditioning. That would have been OK, given it got down to 50 at night, but the pilot light was still burning in our gas fireplace and there was no way to shut it off. The glass on the fireplace was very hot to touch. Needless to say, the heat coming out of the fireplace made the condo a furnance, even with a fan and the door to the deck left open. Had the gas fireplace been shutoff, we think things would have been perfect. Bottom line - great condo, good price, and would do it again.

The property was very nice. It was an easy walk to the Gondola. It had a great hot tub.

Overall the property was very good. The room was the right size for two people. The bed was very comfortable. My wife is very picky and she was pleased. We would definitely stay there again.

Great quiet location. Front desk service was superb!

Came up for the Steamboat Stinger mountain bike race. The studio condo was perfect for two people. Linda at the front desk was great. She provided great recommendations for food and activities in Steamboat. The hot tub was an added plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Nicely updated studio with great customer service

Note: We were super disappointed that the hot tub was closed due to being out of season, as this was our number one requirement when looking for our romantic getaway on VRBO. It lists in the amenities a hot tub, but doesn't say anything about it being closed during certain times of the year, so you might want to check on this if this is important to you. All this being said, I am still going to give this listing a 5 star for a few reasons. Linda checked us in when we arrived, and she was so helpful and nice and made us feel very welcome. The next day I spoke to Lisa over the phone to ask for a checkout time of 1:30 pm and she said it wouldn't be a problem. Thank you to both of you! The studio was very nicely updated, clean, and had really nice finishes. The following wasn't needed for us, but I noticed the area the bed was in had a retractable wall that could be used to separate it into a bedroom. That would be a nice touch for anyone staying with more than 2 people. We ended up going to Strawberry Park for our hot tub experience, and that was nice and relaxing. Overall we had a great time in Steamboat and would definitely come back to this for a getaway.

Condo was excellent! Everything was new. The king bed was great and had lots of extra pillows. The kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast before hitting the slopes.
