The "Fjord Cottage" holiday home is a lovingly renovated thatched-roof house for up to 12 people with a total living area of 224 m². It consists of two spacious semi-detached houses connected internally. This makes the house ideal for multi-generational holidays, larger families, or groups of friends who travel together but still appreciate privacy.
Surrounded by expansive fields and nestled on a quiet, secluded road, this natural oasis offers tranquility and a sense of spaciousness. The unobstructed views of the open countryside, the gentle breeze rustling through the fields, and the crisp, clean air create a unique atmosphere of relaxation. Whether enjoying breakfast together on the terrace, reading in the garden, or watching the sunset, nature is always your closest neighbor.
One of the semi-detached houses offers approximately 124 m² of living space. The comfortably furnished living and dining room provides direct access to the south-facing terrace, which boasts a wonderful view across the adjacent fields. The spacious south-facing garden is exclusively yours and invites you to spend relaxing hours outdoors with its barbecue and seating area. On cooler days, a Danish fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere, while you can stream your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and blends seamlessly into the living and dining area. Two spacious, naturally lit shower rooms – one on each floor – offer added convenience. Upstairs, there is a finished sleeping area with two bedrooms: one with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a wardrobe, the other with two single beds (each 90 x 200 cm) that can be joined to form a double bed if needed. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains. You can also use the sofa bed in the living room (180 x 200 cm) as an additional sleeping option.
The second half of the house offers approximately 100 m² of living space. On the ground floor, there is a cozy living and dining room with a wood-burning fireplace and an open, fully equipped kitchen. From the kitchen, you can access a shower room with natural light. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a small toilet. Built-in wardrobes in the hallway and a comfortable work and reading area in the gallery complete this floor.
One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200 cm). The second bedroom features a pull-out daybed (80 x 200 cm, extending to 160 x 200 cm) and a mezzanine with two floor mattresses (70 x 200 cm) – ideal for children. Blackout curtains ensure restful nights. Opposite the front door is a private, enclosed garden with a sheltered southwest-facing terrace, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. A barbecue is also available. Four-legged family members are welcome in this half of the house.
For larger groups, the "Captain's Lodge," also located on the property, is an additional option. Combined, the "Fjord Cottage" can accommodate up to 15 people.
A covered common area with a ping-pong table and paddles, as well as covered bicycle storage, are also available. In addition, you'll find grills for convivial barbecue evenings, soccer goals for spontaneous matches, and plenty of space for children to play outdoors.
During the colder months or for particularly cozy moments, you can rent a barrel sauna on request, located right in the courtyard – with a view of the surrounding greenery for maximum relaxation.
