The condo was crawling with roaches when we turned the lights on. Left message for the realtor and then called the after hours # provided on the documentation. That person called me back to let me know she had not worked for the realtor for about 10 years. Finally heard back from realtor after texting her. She was able to find us another unit in a different building. Had to pack everything back up and move my 90 year old mother at midnight. When we got there the door handle and key pad were completely taped over so had to rip off all the tape to get in. All the deck furniture was sitting in the middle of the living room. Plastic was covering the bedroom window. The realtor told me when I finally talked to her that the 1st unit had been sprayed extra than the routine quarterly sprays since a previous renter had seen a “couple” and then she said “4 or 5”. Don’t think quarterly is enough given what we saw. The extra spray definitely didn’t work.

Boat docking was the best part

We loved the fact you had a boat slip and could just get in your boat and go anytime . We went to Roy’s to eat and every evening watched the beautiful sunsets from our boat . When we arrived the bedding had brown stains on it and there were no wash rags , also no can opener or coffee not that those things are deal breakers had we known we would have just brought our own from home . However the bedding was definitely not clean . We just stripped it and didn’t sleep with it , we always bring blankets from home . I did let Emily know and she sent maintenance over immediately to take blankets and wash them . I asked the guy if the bedding is washed jn between guest and he said no , there’s not enough time and washing machine is to small for washing it there they have to take it home every couple weeks to be washed . The place is decorated cute and has a nice view . We didn’t plan on being inside really at all but with Saturday being a rainy and stormy kind of day we were stuck inside . Not much to do In the area outside of boating and fishing . All stores with things needed are across the bridge on the other side of the river. This place is cute and needs a little TLC as the bathroom floor is also cracking all over and tiles dip down when you step on it and the wall in bathroom is cracking. People above us was so noisy and the place next door jammed out late . We loved the area and will be back , we will just be booking in a different condo unit .

Great Fishing Trip To Steinhatchee, FL

This is an excellent place for an extended fishing trip. The Condo and the dock were great. The ground-level lockable storage closet was terrific. The Condo was in great shape, and Emily and her team responded quickly to whatever we needed.

Great Place if you have a boat!

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed fishing and scalloping. The boat ramp is about one block from the unit, the assigned dock slip was fabulous, the pool sparkling clean! Emily was great at being flexible with our schedule! The location right at Good Times Marina, and just across the river from Sea Hag Marina were super convienent. We will be back!

Can't beat the location for scalloping. Close to Gulf.

Condo was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. First floor location is a bonus, so only one set of stairs. Beautiful views. Dock area is very nice and well cared for. Pool is a nice bonus to come back for a dip after a hot day on the water. A/C stopped working our first night there (condensation had built up in the drain line) property manager was on it quickly and sent a repairman (who was very fast and thorough) to get us up and running in no time.

We loved our stay at rivers edge. The location was centrally locates, super cute, and the pool was a great touch. Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.

Very nicely decorated.

Only complaint was the outdoor light fixture was out, and the back French door fixture does not work properly made it difficult to access porch, actually used the door in the master bedroom to gain entry to the porch. Back patio needs to be cleaned. The only light that worked in the other bedroom was in between the beds. Other than that the decor was beautiful, master bed slept well. Oh yes the elevator has not been serviced since 2016, but it works well. Nice place to visit, would stay there again.

Always a good time!

We always have a great time when we stay at River's Edge. No matter which condo we stay in, they're always clean and "move-in" ready. The ease of booking is always easy and hassle free as well. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Steinhatchee.

The condo was nice

I am only giving it 3 stars. The condo was nice and decorated well. However, the couch needs to be replaced. It was not comfortable at all. Even though we were not in the condo that much, as we were out most of the day fishing and scalloping. It should be somewhere to relax after a long day on the water. Love having a washer and dryer in the unit. We were not notified that the pool was not in use, looks like it had been closed for a while, this should have been communicated prior to our arrival. This is our second time staying at Rivers Edge, it is conveniently located by the boat ramp and across from Sea Hag. Also I would recommend that a garbage can and a recycle bin be placed at the dock area. I don’t mind taking up the garbage to the dumpster but I do not like throwing away things that can be recycled. More needs to be done about recycling in my opinion.

Great Place !!

This charming two bedroom was comfortable and conveniently located on the river. Very clean, comfortable beds. The storage closet was a great bonus to store your fishing gear. Had no problems finding or arriving with the instructions received from Emily (thank you Emily). We had no issues or mishaps. I only wish they had WiFi, our cell carrier was not in the area, so it would have been nice. We will definitely be back for another trip!

Beautiful

The place was very hard to find. Not even with a GPS cause if you put the address in it takes you by sea hag. It was also confusing because there are 2 buildings and they are not marked with a number so you know which one to go to. There was lawn furniture all over the grass that had been tossed over the balcony. The doors in the actual condo kept coming open whenever the wind blew. Kinda creeped me out. Alot of the lightbulbs were blown. I was not able to get into the storage closet downstairs. It said when I reserved it that it was available for use for my fishing poles. The couch did not pull out also like in the drscription.The place was very beautiful and well decorated. King bed was very comfy and so was one of the queen beds but the other queen sucked. It was so hard.

Loved it!

It was a great condo, easy access, beautiful views! Condo itself was beautiful, very well maintained. My ONLY complaint which really is not complaining would be that there be blinds on the bedroom door going out to balcony. At night way to much light shining in there to sleep plus if anyone is out on balcony they can see into bedroom. Would love to go stay longer, was very nice.

Clean and great location

It would've got 5 stars but the outside of condos could use a face lift but other than that the inside of condo was very nice and clean. The boat slips were nice and have power and water hose. The pool was nice after being in salt water all day. Next door to Who Dat's restaurant(very good food and good music)
