We loved our stay at West Plean House. The property is beautiful with lovely gardens, horses and even chickens. Our room was very large with great views of the gardens and breakfast was amazing! Many thanks for a wonderful start to our trip!
An amazing old but well maintained house, newly renovated with all the modern comfort in the middle of a huge park with meadows and old trees. Our room was very large and the beds really comfortable. The bath was in relation to the room a bit smaller with an even smaller sink anyway no reason to complain. A very good breakfast with extra wishes fulfilled where possible. There are a lot of parking lots just in front of the house. It was a very quiet place. There were lovely horses on the meadows. A picturesque nice place. Hannah was a very friendly talented young lady who lives there with her family. She manages the b&b wonderfully. She was very helpful at all times. The rooms are cleaned every day, The tea tray in the room was renewed daily. We stayed three nights there and were sorry to leave at the end. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The surroundings were breathtaking. I still dream about Hannahâs breakfast. We had an amazing time!!
This B&B will be remembered as one of the top five in which we have stayed worldwide. The property is beautifully located and the views are gorgeous. It is uniquely convenient to the primary sites to see in Stirling. Most importantly is the attention to detail by the family and their overall care for their guests. Over our three night stay, it was simply a positive and memorable experience.
From arrival until departure Hannah and Nico go out of their way to ensure your stay is memorable. Breakfast is among the best we have tasted for quality. All in all a very nice place.
Really nice place country house b&b quality breakfast think 10 am as check out is to early but would stay again, Hannah who runs it very nice & obliging.
We enjoyed our visit to West Plean House so much! True Scottish hospitality from the minute we arrived to the minute we parted company. Lovely setting, we loved our walk through snowdrop covered woods and were delighted to find livery stables en route where we watched horses being exercised. A hearty, healthy breakfast each morning prepared us for the day ahead and we were spoiled for choice of things to do in and around Stirling.
Avoid the hustle and bustle in Stirling by staying just a tiny bit south of town at this bucolic country house built in 1803. Very quiet, woodland walks, large bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was very well done. One of the nicest places we stayed during a 17-day trip to Scotland. Word to the wise, follow Hannahâs directions in her email or you will end up on a farm path. Sheâs tried to correct Google Maps to no avail. Lovely house and grounds.
The breakfast was amazing and the room was very very comfortable and the walks around the house were so tranquil. We loved our stay and Hannah was wonderful , easily the best place weâve staid in the area ! We will be back !
Lovely surroundings and gardens, quiet, great beds and breakfasts. Felt very much
at home thanks to the wonderful hospitality of our hosts, including little dog Molly.
