The picture makes it look like this place sets out by itself in a nice rural environment. Doesn't show that there is not hardly any place to turn a boat around unless you pull in the front yard between trees and do a turn about back into the drive (not easy)and doesn't show the crappy looking shed sitting right next to it with all the run down equipment, trucks, and junk laying around.Time spent outside getting fishing stuff ready was anything but relaxing between dogs constantly barking, kids running around and parents yelling (I mean screaming) at their kids and work going on at the fore-mentioned shed. The goats and cows nearby would be welcomed noise if not for everything else. The "house" itself was pretty clean, at least as clean as something that is 40-50 years old (with plumbing and electrical outlets that look to date back to the 60's and 70's) CAN get. That is the highlight...."at least the place was clean", bed was comfortable and old couch was reasonably comfortable. AC worked.I brought coffee, so I was disappointed that there was no coffee make, but they did have Keurig. Drive was about 20 minutes to State Park boat ramp. I, completely by accident, packed their roku remote with my rain bibs (after they dried, I laid them on the foot rest by the couch) and I must have laid the remote on the same foot rest and when I grabbed it all Sunday morning, the remote ended up in my box. I'll just say the owner was very b*tchy about it. I'll never stay there again
