Our stay at Villa Petra was certainly a highlight of the second half of our trip. Perched high on a hill, our view included the Italian Alps, a large swath of Lake Maggiore, three islands once owned by an Italian Noble family, and at night, the twinkling lights of the villages across that lake. The house has been updated with classic taste. The kitchen, bathrooms, pool and sauna are state of the art. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms easily accommodated 4 couples. Francesca, our rental agent was so charming and extremely helpful in showing us around the house and giving us tips of where to shop and restaurants to visit.Believe the photos! We thought they were too good to be true, but the view and location was extraordinary!All-in-all, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
