For how fancy the hotel is and the price of the room, you'd think the pillows would be a bit better than the average holiday inn but instead they were completely flat and not in the slightest bit comfortable. Felt like I was sleeping without a pillow. The restaurant that is attached to the hotel was garbage as well. We wanted to try it as their sister restaurant, Charbar, was incredible but was quite disappointed with Charcut.

I've been to Le Germain 3-4 times now, and it's never disappointed. Always clean, friendly staff, prompt service, spacious and quiet rooms that have well kept furnishings and modern design. You can go to a different hotel in Calgary, and it maaaaaybe as good, but it won't be better than Le Germain.
