Very clean, updated, well equipped kitchen. Loved the kids bedroom for our 5 gkids. Had full bath with 2 bunk beds. Full size beds (2 kids ea) on ground and 2 twin beds above. We rented for a full week so we had the daily tent service which we all loved. It could shade 5-6 people at a time.

Awesome week at the beach!

The house was great! The home was just remodeled and had everything our family needed. The property was very clean. The owner even checked in on us. The property was beach front with a beautiful view. The pool and hot tub was an added bonus. This was our first time staying at Holden Beach and this place has won our hearts. Will be coming back again. Very nice to not have to fight for a parking spot, waiting for an elevator or finding a spot on the beach. They had our tent put up on the beach every morning by 6 and they took it down after 6 in the evening. If you have little ones, this is the beach for you. All beach chairs, beach toys, and pool tools were provided.

What a beautiful home. Jenny was super responsive with any questions or things we were requesting her help with. The renovations done were magnificent. Having a tent setup on the beach and then all of the beach chairs & toys available made traveling so much simpler. Great access to the ocean & a wonderful pool/hot tub were the perfect icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

Perfect house for our family!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was in a fantastic location and close to the beach. We loved having the option of the pool or beach. The house was really well appointed. I loved the decor and the small little touches like having extra throw blankets and tall chairs so you can see over the banister when sitting on the porch. We opted to heat the pool and it malfunctioned a couple of times, but the owner was super responsive and sent people out quickly to get it fixed. The only thing the house didn’t have was cookie sheets and we bought some and left them there for the next guest. I wondered if the chairs for the beach would be well worn, but they seemed brand new. The tent set up each day was a nice touch. Both of the king beds were a little firm, but still passable. I do like a really cushy bed, so that could be a me problem. The folks sleeping in other beds said they were comfortable. I would still book again.

for the price, seems to "needs some TLC"

The house had a great location and all the amenities we hoped for! It was just the right space and set up for our group. While it was "clean" as in the housekeeping was doing a great job, there was just general maintenance things that were rough around the edges. I'm sure to some extent that had to do with us coming at the end of the summer travel season. Interior and especially exterior needed some paint and rust proofing. (To the extent that kids had to be warned about avoiding contact with the rust.) The mattresses weren't great and pillows were flat. The shower curtains had those questionable dark spots at the bottoms and shower was showing it's wear and tear. We couldn't get the garage doors to open (but we also didn't ask for help so that's on us) and we couldn't locate any light inside the garage, so it was just dark and wet in there. Things like that. In all, we had a very nice stay and enjoyed it, but it put a damper on the initial excitement and there was definitely some discussion about it feeling like for the price we weren't expecting to feel like things "needed TLC".

Lovely house

House was very nice and clean. Kitchen equipped well for cooking. Fully stocked keurig was certainly appreciated. Refrigerator could be a little bigger. Loved the complimentary beach tent service and the chairs and toys available at the house. Outdoor area and the pool are wonderful. Grandkids had so much fun in the pool and hot tub.

Great stay at the beach

The house was very nice and had everything we needed. The location and beach were great. What made this house outstanding was the pool. The hot tub was sandy and cloudy when we got there. The came back and cleaned it but the water never did look inviting. Overall, the whole family thought it was a great time.

Perfect House and location!

We highly recommend staying at this property for a relaxing and convenient beach vacation! It is clean, well maintained, stocked with everything we needed for comfortable beach days (nice chairs to take to the ocean). It is steps away from the ocean, the pool was beautiful and had 8 full length reclining sunning chairs, the house was perfect for our family of 7 (husband and myself, 2 college age children, and our daughter and so. In law and 6mo old grandchild). We especially enjoyed having a tent service each day; the gentleman who set it up daily was consistent and had it set-up before 8 each morning! Also, the hostess was easy and lovely to communicate with!

Lovely location

This house was great and fully equipped with everything needed. The only thing disappointing was the temperature of the pool. We paid the extra $250 for it to be heated and it was not swimmable the entire time. I would recommend removing this option during certain months so that people aren’t wasting money.

Pleasant week

The house was very nice, loved the pool size, the location of the house, proximity to the beach and the tent concierge service was a plus. A suggestion would be to have a lot more silverware for a house that accommodates 10 of us. Fully equipped kitchen was advertised and that was lacking. The lighting in the kitchen was on and off and my son in law changed the filter for the a/c, it was really dirty. Some knobs should be checked for maintenance on bedroom furniture. It would be helpful to advertise the master suite requiring to go up a flight of stairs, most are on the main level. The coffee supplied for the Keurig was a nice feature and Jennifer was great to work with. I would suggest spending the $106 per year for recycling, we brought much of ours home.

Beachfront retreat - Second year in row, already booked for year 3

Annual family trip to the beach. Members convene from Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Georgia for a wonderful week. Jenny is always accessible for any concerns we have. Can't wait to be back next year!
