Wonderful family vacation site!

Stayed with our adult kids and grandchild. Was a perfect location and house. Neighbors played music too loud around pool ….. but that was a minor issue!!!

The location to the beach was extremely close, and a very easy walk to the shore. The pool was incredible as well and was perfect for our family. The communications from Garden City Realty were great and loved the "house guide" sent before getting there. There were 8 of us (4 adults and 4 kids, ages 8-16) and we all enjoyed it. The pool was a great size and so refreshing. The walk to the beach was so short and directly across from the public access. I will add the beds were a bit firm but nothing we couldn't handle. Wonderful time had by all and a great place to stay!

These are positive thoughts-kitchen was well stocked, perfect location, pool was wonderful, great back deck, great layout. Negative thoughts- the neighboring house(not a rental) have a dog that barks constantly when the owners leave. It’s hard to enjoy your time there having to listen to that, the refrigerator had spills that had not been cleaned from previous rental, mattress in bedroom on the main floor was extremely uncomfortable, the pool needed to be cleaned which didn’t happen all week. Also, make sure you bring bug spray and citronella candles. The mosquitos are terrible! Despite those negative items, we would stay here again.

Perfect Name for a Great a Vacation Property

Layout of the rooms allows for privacy and cuts down on the noise that usually comes with a large family or group. Shore Bet is nicely decorated without there being too much stuff on walls, shelves or countertops. Closets are plentiful and large. This was the first vacation of many in the Surfside area that we did not stay right on the beach and we were pleased with the ease of getting to and from the beach, as it was honestly just a few steps more. Also with this property’s location, there is much less street noise. Pool area is very nice with trees providing perfect spots of shade. Wish that the pool light had been working properly so the kiddos could have enjoyed swimming at night. A bench or chair would be a great addition to the upstairs king bedroom, due to the height of the mattress. Additional seating in the main living area would better accommodate guests gathering together for tv viewing or conversation. Our group would certainly stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: My family and I stayed at Shore Bet the last week of September 2023 and it was one of the best beach house rental experiences I've ever had. First of all, the property was extremely clean upon arrival. Everything was fantastic from the well equipped kitchen to the nice decor. The pool and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The bedrooms were also nice and we felt the beds were very comfortable. The gas grill on the deck was really useful and a nice touch (even though the listing states it's a charcoal grill). You can't beat the location as it's almost right across the street from the beach access. Dealing with Garden City Reality was also a positive experience. They made the whole process very easy and stress free. We will definitely use Garden City Realty again and will certainly stay at Shore Bet again as well!

The pool was relaxing and enjoyed by our family after a day at the beach. The kitchen was appointed and stocked for all of our needs. We did have a few bulbs that were out; in the stairwell, no batteries in TV remotes and the Wi-Fi was sketchy and unreliable. However, we didn't let those things deter our fun! A Shore Bet we will visit again.

Family vacation

There is a squeaky queen bed that needs addressed. It was extremely loud just shifting on the bed and was heard by other rooms. The major issue were the ants in the kitchen. We notified one of the employees when they dropped off an item for the kitchen and he was going to see if they were plans to spray. No one did stop to help with the issue. We bought ant traps and placed 4 of them in the kitchen without success at stopping the problem.
