The staff is very friendly. Ryan, the manager is so sweet. Hotel is very clean and the breakfast is tasty.

The staff were great & every area was clean. The rooms are very dated but again, they were clean & didn't smell. The showers were a bit rough as you could tell there had been multiple repairs to the walls (& the curtain rod connection points were damaged) but the water pressure was great & again, it was very clean. We will definitely stay here during our next Sutton Lake trip.

Great place to stay!

We stay here traveling from NC up to NY and then again on the way back. It’s approximately half way and breaks the trip up. The pool and bar is nice.

Great family property!

Whether you are just passing through the Wild, Wonderful State of West Virginia or on a destination quest I recommend this property. It’s large (the north tower is where the outdoor pool, lobby and restaurant are located) with an indoor pool (located in the south tower) and outdoor pool. They serve a hot, country style buffet breakfast as well (that means biscuits and gravy are available to me). Great for kids and adults!

We had an amazing stay. They have an indoor pool and outdoor pool. The swings outside had an amazing view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

The outside pool was as small as a hot tub. So many people you couldn't get in. The inside pool was run down and dirty and no towels. Rooms were out dated. I checked on my registration on line that I would pay an extra 20 to be able to check in early at 1. When I got to the hotel the clerk said there is no such thing, we don't do that. You will wait till 3. She said you just got ripped off.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Days Inn & Suites in Sutton/Flatwoods, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional—but what made the experience exceptional was the hotel manager, Ryan. He is not only a great manager but an outstanding human being. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care for guests set the tone for the entire stay. The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. Waking up to a beautiful mountain view from the balcony was a bonus. The pool and hot tub area was clean and relaxing, and the complimentary breakfast was fresh and satisfying. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring central West Virginia, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. It’s clear this place is run with pride and integrity, and Ryan’s leadership makes a real difference. If you’re passing through or planning a visit to the area, I highly recommend Days Inn & Suites Sutton/Flatwoods. You won’t just get a great stay—you’ll feel genuinely cared for.
