This is a stylish hotel close to the Victoria Cross metro station. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. Coles grocery was nearby and a number of restaurants and bars. There is a bar fridge, but no microwave. The lighting in the bathroom isn't great and there's no plug. I did my makeup and hair outside the bathroom. The carpets were a little dusty, but otherwise it was super clean. I didn't use the gym or eat in the in-house restaurant.

Bit of a mixed review for this one, but overall it was quite positive. The hotel is close to Victoria Cross Metro, which is super handy. The neighbourhood is clean, trendy, and felt safe at night. The interior design is modern and understated. I really liked the dark, moody bathroom. However, the kitchen area could use more lighting since it’s quite dark. The view wasn’t great, but I imagine the higher grade rooms have better ones. There were a few minor issues here and there. The handheld shower head was left facing up and out, so it sprayed in my face when turning on the shower. That wasn’t particularly pleasant, but I had to laugh. Some small cleaning details were missed like buildup on the bathroom vent, noticeably some silicone and grout jobs that weren’t done properly, soap drips that were left on bottles, and water stains on the glass. I should specify that the bathroom was still clean, though. Probably just being pedantic. The air conditioning struggled to reach the lowest setting, which made it a little too warm to sleep for my liking, but the bed was really cosy. High praise for the staff: all were professional, attentive, and quick to resolve any issues I had. The team at Bar Lettera were also wonderful. Meals were good quality but were overpriced and under-portioned in my opinion, especially since the sides cost extra. Despite the imperfections, I enjoyed my stay overall and given the opportunity, I’d stay again.

The room was very dusty and the bedsheet was dirty. We reported it, but the staff ignored us all day. When my husband went down, they told him to change it himself. He refused, and only around 11 pm did someone finally come to change the bed. It was very disappointing, as they should have taken care of it the first time we asked.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at Citadines Nth Sydney. I love the location - it is so convenient - close to transport and dining options are excellent. Walking around the area is also excellent. I was disappointed this visit with the state of the room. It needs some serious TLC and looked like it had been bashed around by many guests. Due to this the room also did not feel as clean as I have experienced stays in the past. The staff and kind and friendly.

I stayed at Citadines North Sydney for three nights. Location of the hotel is fantastic, nestled amongst skyrises & within a minute walk of a local grocery store, bars & restaurants. The train station is 5 minutes’ walk so it is very convenient if you are reliant on public transport. The hotel itself is a pleasure for the senses. Visually it's impressively decorated & felt plush. The highlight of my stay was the daily inclusive breakfast. I recommend adding this to your booking. The coffee was always on point and the food aesthetically appealing and delicious. I’m giving a special mention to the restaurants front of house staff Andrea. She managed the entire restaurant seamlessly and on her own. Andrea was warm, friendly, professional and extremely proficient. She is an asset to Citadines. My room had it’s pros and cons. The room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. Good quality products were provided. The room was too dark even with all the lights on. This became particularly difficult when trying to apply make-up. The bathroom lacked power points for use of a hair dryer etc and the sink was too high. I feel the design lacked consideration in these aspects. The service I received from hotel staff was mixed. Front counter staff were either pleasant to deal with or too busy for pleasantries. They did not answer the phone the 3 times I called over a span of 2 hours when trying to ask for replenishments. I went to reception to get the items & the manager was apologetic.
