Visited from Canada - requested to check in early, was told we could check in at 1.00 but when I confirmed, I was told there was a last minute booking and they were leaving the same day we were checking in, not a problem. The host did message me when the apartment was ready at about 1.30, so that was great customer service on her part. The apartment was beautiful with a million dollar view of the harbour! The kitchen was well appointed and having a separate washer and dryer was a definite plus. Having 2 bathrooms was good, but both were small and while having a separate shower was great, it was small. I think both bathrooms should be combined to make one magnificent bathroom. The living room furniture was showing wear and it was quite low to the ground and having such a light colour for a rental is a bold choice. I would suggest an L shaped sectional at a more appropriate height. We had some issues with one of the beds, the fan in the bedroom and the blinds in the living room. The host acted very quickly to resolve these issues. There is no air conditioning and I wonder how hot this apartment would be in the summer months. There were no screens on the windows or the slider to the balcony; it would have been nice to open the windows for fresh air but I didn't want any bugs to get into the apartment. All in all, this was a great apartment in a fantastic area and I would definitely stay here again.
