Was very disappointed Room dirty. Parking tradie took all the parking in the morning. Very difficult to go in and out from due to being right on the lights. The breakfast was terrible, not even pot of coffee just sachets of cheap nasty coffee. Lucky I brought an eye mask to block out the light. Air conditioner old and cover in dust. Pillows lumpy. Was woken by noise outside, room arenât soundproof.
Les points forts : Personnel et service et confort de la chambre
Greenwich accomm close to private hospital
Young lady on the desk was very welcoming. Accommodation clean, tidy and comfortable for two people. Aircon old & works. Breakfast provided I couldnât enjoy it as I had be at the RNSP hospital at 7am. Hospital only 400m up the road with pedestrian crossing lights. Main highway noise was not intrusive. There some cafe only closed late in the afternoon. Urbun hotel next door has dining available.
Receptionist seemed annoyed I interrupted her game of Candy Crush.
Gave me a room that hadnât been made up.
Then gave me one that was on the highway with a window that wouldnât close and had the big fluro light shining in as the curtain doesnât cover it properly due to the ancient air con which lets in a lot of noise. All windows and glasses and cups were dirty, toiletries from the last guest still in the shower and over pungent âair freshener scentsâ in all the hallways.
Sheets stained too and TV broken
The staff at St Leonardâs Hotel were very nice. The room was comfortable. But, things could definitely do with an upgrade. The shower head was too small to wash my hair, bathroom very small. And the bed sheets didnât look like they had been washed properly. It would have also been nice to have been provided with Wifi, as thatâs usually what youâd expect anywhere you stay, being in a motel or hotel.
The two glasses on the shelf are dirtyâŠ. Prints all over.
The fridge was not cold due to the big block of ice covering the freezer box.
No waste paper bin.
And worst of all I had an ice cold shower due to not hot water. Apart from that reception was really good.
Needs another coat of fresh paint inside my room. Needs a new bed/mattress. A/C loud and in competition with outside traffic (no double glazing on windows needed due to proximity of Pacific Hwy traffic).
In summary: Not a pleasant experience. Parking... Well words fail me!
Excellent proximity to RNSH hospital. Bright Downlight outside window so had to keep curtains closed at night. Limited car spaces but I was lucky both nights. Noise wasnât too bad considering my room was on ground floor facing Pacific Highway. Very basic but free breakfast
