Nice city getaway

Staying 2 nights for a family trip. Check-in was quick and easy. However, when we got to our room, we were disappointed to be allocated an accessible room, which was not what I booked. We had to request a new room due to unhygienic stains in the bathroom. Second room was clean and comfortable, son was entertained at kids corner & holiday movie night and buffet breakfast was great. Great location with light rail, Darling Harbour & the Star. I would suggest stair access to be provided as at certain times, we’d wait for 3-4 lifts before getting in.

Terrible.

Between getting stuck in an elevator, waiting over an hour for a salad at the restaurant, and having the front desk refuse to bring up a medical delivery that came to the hotel for my kid, this has been a horrible stay. Not sure how this is a 4 Star property. Maybe 30 years ago, but I’d say skip this dump.

Great hotel for families

Such a great hotel. Buffet breakfast was delicious and well worth it. Parking is great for 4wd’s as there is parking with higher height restrictions. Easy walk into the city. Clean and friendly staff. Only downfall would be rooms have double beds, not queens.

I was upgraded to a suite which was unexpected and very nice. I thought the furniture was a little hard and not as comfortable as I would have liked. There was limited seating space in my room. The bed was very comfortable and clean.

Check your glass before drinking

Reception and check in were great. The Buffet Breakfast was really fresh and lots of variety. The room was average in both cleanliness and comfort. The glass I wanted to use for water had lipstick and what appeared to be some left over food on it. Really turned my stomach!

The rooms are a little tired and need some attention. We swapped our room as wasn’t happy with outlook, size and carpet had sticky stuff left on it. Got changed to a Deluxe and it was much nicer. Anita at reception was so lovely and accomodating to what we wanted. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Unfortunately view is mostly construction. Overall it was comfortable and okay for our 2 night stay.

The property is well presented and the breakfast and service was great! The rooms are a bit outdated and not worth what we paid. The rooms are so dark! Even the light in the bathroom not great for applying make up. The block out blind was the highlight! So much construction around that you can’t see anything. Service and staff were phenomenal

Comfortable room. Paid twice for meal and drinks. Apparently the system was down Wednesday afternoon (refer Kaleb) and the money $65 has been taken out by staff. Definitely came out of my bank account and not put back in. Would like this rectified please.
