Enjoyed it but felt there were too many nick nacks around, easy to break one as there are all over the place. Just reduce them a bit and maybe change them now and again, other than that very nice property
We really enjoyed our stay at Pinky's cottage. Our kids were enamoured with the sweet vintage aesthetic, and the loft bed, and we were glad to have everything we needed on hand. Communication with the host was straightforward, with clear instructions and friendly help on offer through the week :)
The only downside was that perhaps previous guests had left things a little unclean (old food in fridge, etc), but that was a minor inconvenience.
Communication was good and we had no problems finding the place or checking in.
Itâs a lovely tiny house but take an eye mask and ear plugs, there was a bright light shining through the kitchen window all night (no blinds) and dogs barking from the early morning.
There were some dried food scraps (carrot?) in the sink and hairs on the bathroom floor but otherwise it was reasonably clean.
Most disappointing was the racist tiles on the kitchen splashback portraying scenes of slavery, not a great choice!
Pinkys decor was retro, bed was cosy and warm. Kitchen was well equipped with coffee, tea and milk supplied. Butter in the fridge was appreciated as was the small nut jar.
I was disappointed with Stayz who despite my constant requests for the property address, ignored me until a few days before my visit. I will not be using you again.
The house and it's furnishings were lovely.
The driveway/entrance didn't leave much room to move when the car was parked.
Would have liked the key lock combination by check in.
Quirky (in a nice way) decore in a quiet suburban street, surrounded by mature trees and shrubs. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Don't believe google maps that it takes 26 minutes to walk in to Katoomba village; we easily did it in just over 15 minutes meaning that dinner or a drink in town is a pleasant walk away.
Thank you Rachel for being so accommodating. We had a lovely stay at Pinkyâs. Having a well equipped kitchen, heating and the electric blankets was a godsend after long days of walking and exploring the beautiful Blue Mountains area. This little gem had everything we needed - highly recommend! đ
Pinkyâs is a lovely little cottage. Beautiful and eclectic, everything you need is available. Itâs very cosy and comfortable, a short drive to Katoomba or any of the other towns in the mountains. The host Rachel is really helpful with any assistance required. Will definitely come again.
