Room and Facility Concerns During Stay

1. The bathroom is very small — you’ll feel cramped right under the sink. No hand soap was provided. 2. The bed was clean, but the other furniture was damp and dusty. 3. The room has very poor lighting. The corridor carpet was full of dust and had an unpleasant smell. 4. For breakfast, only bread and butter were available, and the coffee machine was out of order.

The hotel was not 2.96 miles from the Empower Lakeside Amphitheater it was nearly 8 miles away! The room was fine. The hotel itself meds numerous repairs.Onlyone of the two elevators worked. Only one side of the toaster worked. There were noice chimes on each floor just a portable one in the lobby. There were many breakfast choices tho. so a decent place for the price.

The room itself was clean but there were a few snags: -Pool was empty/drained -1 of the 2 elevators was out of service -we needed to switch rooms a few hours into our stay due to no hot water in the first room - there were no functioning ice machines in the building (large igloo cooler in lobby had some) -portable air conditioners in both rooms that leaked onto carpet

Didn’t have a king bed like I paid for. No air conditioning in the room on a 90° day gum stuck to the wall and headboard oh bugs stuck in cobwebs behind the bathroom door and on the air conditioning unit that didn’t work. Window was open a crack when I got there. what appeared to be puke on the duvet of one of the beds floor in the one elavator that worked looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a month. The list can go on but I’ll probably run out of room. They put us in a different room that had a portable a/c it was loud and kicked on and off all night and kept us awake. It was a nightmare. We expected higher standards from Windham I generally won’t leave a bad review but this was a nightmare

I really wish I could say my experience was better than ok, and usually I can over look a few issues. Unfortunately, the hits just kept coming. Let me be clear, the people who I interacted with were STELLAR. They were kind, professional and accommodating. My issues were with the details. 1. My initial room had a constantly running toilet. The room itself was beautiful, but there was no sleeping. Thankfully, the person at the front desk moved me.

I think the property had been closed for a time and had recently reopened. A lot of stuff didn’t work. The room had a free standing air conditioner but was comfortable nonetheless. One of the two elevators was out of order and the only ice machine was in the lobby. The property has great potential but needs a little time to get everything working.

The water in shower was cold. Never got never got warm even after several minutes. Tub was dirty. Water didn’t drain from tub so you stood in the water. Sheets not changed with three night stay and there was no chamber service during the stay.

There was NO FRIDGE in the room!!!!! no ice-maker in hotel (just a large communal bin with a scoop in lobby area), one of two elevators was out of service (door was stuck). Parking area and other buildings outside rundown. The only reasons I gave 2 stars instead of 3...the staff were pleasant, the bed was comfortable and there was Greek yogurt for breakfast instead of the usual cheap tasteless kind. Would not recommend it especially not having a fridge

When you walk in the lobby looks great. Unfortunately things go downhill quickly from there. The elevator carpet is worn and stained. The room is very outdated. The mattress has not been changed in years, the WiFi does not reach the room, the bathroom is tiny with the counters very low and the toilet is not standard height. The house phone had no cord so it was useless. The air conditioning unit was a Jerry-rigged unit that was extremely noisy. In my opinion the hotel should be closed and either redone top to bottom or bulldozed.
