Als der Erbauer dieser Wohnanlage seiner Frau ein bleibendes Zeugnis seiner Liebe und Wertschätzung schenken wollte, in der er sie hielt, hatte er Roma entworfen und gebaut, ein Meisterwerk der Architektur und des Designs, das das Erscheinungsbild eines römischen Palastes hat. Es befindet sich jedoch am Tamarindo Beach in einem tropischen Paradies, wo die Gäste alles zu Fuß erreichen können. Wenn Sie sich durch die Roma bewegen, haben Sie das Gefühl, dass sie aus großer Inspiration entstanden sind. Jedes Einrichtungs- und Dekorationsobjekt fühlt sich nach langer Überlegung ausgewählt an und es sieht so aus, als ob es dort hingehört, wo es ist. Location is right across from beach access, views from the upper floor are amazing, plenty of room for our family of 10. Two outdoor patios to enjoy, washer and dryer right in the unit (although they could use some upgrading). Housekeeping comes every day but is flexible if you want another schedule.

We loved the penthouse!

The penthouse is the best unit in the Sunrise Condominiums in Tamarindo. I loved the upper balcony that allowed us to be above the canopy of the trees and above the other buildings. It offered spectacular panoramic views of the ocean to the west and the hills to the east. The sounds of the birds and waves were so relaxing. The location could not be better. The beach was just across the street, and we walked up the street through town for coffee, dining, and shopping many times each day. You really are in the heart of it all. The pool area was fun and relaxing in the afternoon and very clean. The penthouse itself is gorgeous as you can see in the pictures. We would gladly stay there again and would highly recommend it to friends and family! Enjoy!

Very positive experience all around

Very good stay all around. Location - Across the street from a great albeit busy beach - Good for swimming in the warm ocean, laying out, taking surf lessons, etc - Very close to 'town' without being right in the middle of the action, i.e. noise, foot traffic - Great place to watch sunset then grab dinner Complex - Gated complex w security (along it doesn't feel unsafe in the neighborhood - Nice, simple pool in the middle of the complex - BONUS: lots of monkey families in the trees and on the fences right in the complex. Huge highlight Condo - Typical Central America/Mexico style...tile floors, simple nice furniture, etc - Great outside deck on the very top of building. Great sunsets, etc - We were a family with two kids in early 20s and two in elementary school (and two parents). More space than we needed but it was nice to spread out. You could easily fit 2-3 families, which would be good to take advantage of the 2 nice balconies - A few areas of potential improvement...some peeling paint near ceilings (likely old, fixed leaks) and 1-2 of the bedrooms not as AC'd as the main area. No big deal though. - Property manager generally available and responsive. Booked horseback riding and airport shuttle through her and they were great. Was not able to book another activity through here. All in all positive experience Overall - Not cheap but found it to be a good value compared to other options - Would definitely book this location again and recommend to friends.

Fantastic View

Spacious 5 bedroom condo, fit our family of 11 very nicely, within walking distance to everything. The beach is directly across the street. The condo complex has a lovely pool which my grand children thoroughly enjoyed. The condo itself is large, has 3 large terraces, 2 overlooking the pool area with ocean views and 1 that that overlooks the parking lot and mountain view where we would hear and sometimes see the Howler Monkeys early in the morning. We also saw large iguanas in the trees. Very exciting for the kids. We spent 15 days here. The condo came with a maid, she was very nice and made up our beds everyday, swept up and washed the towels. I would stay again.

Beautiful Penthouse Condo

Amazing large 5 br 2 floor condo in the heart the of Tamarindo right across street from Tamarindo beach. Nice uncrowded pool area. Walking distance from everything and even easier with a golf cart. The housekeeper is very sweet and attentive. The upper patio is one of the best places in the area to view the sunset. Would recommend to all.

What a great place!

What a lovely place. Two amazing terraces, and comfortable rooms. Absolutely must watch the sunset from the top level. There is a maid that comes daily which was a bit strange at first, as I'm used to cleaning and making sure everything is well taken care of. I would recommend this place 100%

Wonderful!

We had such a great stay at this unit. We especially enjoyed the upper deck with the cold tub during our children’s nap time. Our only concern with children was the gaps in the rails on the deck, however this is consistent with the entire condo complex. The description doesn’t do this place justice. Lots of room and great for large families or groups. Check in and out was very flexible which we appreciated. We will absolutely be back to stay here again!

Location within tamarindo is amazing. Evila did a great job of keeping the place clean. We did not experience any negative issues while staying here. Location is the brightest of many bright stars for this rental

I can't say enough about the location. Waffle Monkey, deep sea fishing, live music, horseback on the beach, many restaurants, surfing, casino; all less than a 10 minute walk away. In the case of surfing, its literally across the street. The view from the second and third floor balconies can't be beat. Check-in: Flexible and 100% functional. It was a physical key handoff. I personally prefer keycode or lockbox; but this worked perfect. Cleanliness: We've done more than a half dozen VRBO rentals and this was the cleanest. Eliza does a great job. The availability of a full size washer and dryer(in unit) was a god-send for us. Accuracy of listing: It is as listed. Beautiful in every way. One nice feature thing that didn't come across in the listing is that the property is walled and gated with a guard on duty. We never felt in danger walking around outside the condo area but I liked the idea of the gate and guard anyway. Housekeeping: This weirded me out. I've never had a housekeeper or even a monthly maid service so the idea of someone being around was just odd to me. I was the only person in our party of six that this bothered so that is totally on me. She was not a surprise, it was clear in the listing. As the reviews suggest: she is quiet, good at her job, efficient, and speaks little to no English. I think the rental was excellent, good value, and if we return to Tamarindo with a party big enough I would definitely try to get the exact same place.

Luxurious 2 Story Penthouse Walking Distance to the Beach!

This place blew my mind when first walking in. It was absolutely gorgeous! It's two stories with 4 bedrooms downstairs, each with their own bathroom and shower. There's another room with bathroom and shower upstairs which also leads to the outside terrace. The view up there is spectacular which shows the entire skyline of the ocean! There is a spa, but no hot water so we never went in it. There is another terrace on the main floor with tons of furniture to lounge in while viewing the ocean and pool with waterfalls down below. The kitchen was huge so it's a great place to cook if needed. It's on the top, 4th floor of a condo complex and walking distance to the beach! You can also walk to the main road with all the shops and restaurants. There is an elevator as well as stairs which weren't too bad. It was easy to go back and forth from the pool to the condo. We loved the pool too! There were a few cats roaming the property and seemed very friendly. I thought the place was better than the pictures in the ad. You will not be disappointed! I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for a large varied group

We recently celebrated Thanksgiving in Tamarindo with our grown kids and their spouses. This property provided a spacious comfortable bedroom for each of 4 couples each with its own private bath. The fifth bedroom allowed space for a friend to visit during the time we were there. The WiFi allowed several people to work while there with no problem. The surfers in the crowd were able to surf as much as they wanted with easy access to lessons and beach daily. The location is walking distance to multiple options in restaurants and bars - most of the group walked everywhere and the food was very good. There was secure parking right next to the elevator for our car and the location was great to use as a home base to explore the area for those not wanting to spend all day on the beach. An additional family member is married with children and they were able to secure a condo in the same unit right off the pool so we were co-located. We walked to the Pangass Beach Club for a stunning seafood feast on the beach for Thanksgiving - it was a perfect celebration. For those like me that want to be able to fix breakfast and sometimes other meals in - there is a spacious fully equipped kitchen with a full sized stove and refrigerator. There are grocery stores within walking distance with limited items and on the way out of town there is an Automercado that is very upscale with a seafood and meat market and good wine and coffee selections as well as a lot of other harder to find cooking ingredients. We had coffee every morning on the beautiful covered deck overlooking the ocean and pool. Most evenings everyone returned so we could go to the upper deck with the private hot tub and enjoy the sunset before heading out to dinner. The view is spectacular. The common space in and outside was spacious and adequately furnished to allow everyone to join in comfortably. To top it all off, a very nice housekeeper came by daily to sweep and clean the floors, freshen the towels and pull up the beds. This was wonderful since it is very difficult to keep the sand totally at bay. She also taught me how to make Gallo Pinto! All in all, everyone could do what they wanted for their holiday - separate and together. I was happy to hear from the grown kids that the stay exceeded their expectations. I highly recommend this as a large group facility.

The best in Tamarindo!

This villa is beautiful. It’s exceptionally clean and spacious., and the location was perfect. The sunset views are amazing. Eight of us stayed in May and enjoyed every minute. Beautiful Property, Excellent Location

First of all the property is clean, spacious, well equipped, and has spectacular views and location, just steps to the beach and town. There were several beach chairs that were light and easy to carry to the beach. The furniture in the common areas is new and it's very comfortable. There was a large new grill that we used to grill tuna we caught on a fishing trip. There were 10 people in our group and the condo accommodated us beautifully. Everyone had a comfortable bed, a private bathroom and plenty of space to spread out. The common areas were perfect for all of us when we wanted to play games, share meals together or just hang out. The balcony on the second floor was perfect to watch spectacular sunsets or stargaze. It was great to have a housekeeper everyday, she did a wonderful job, and was always pleasant. I can't say enough about the management of the property. Joel, Sharon and the owner Dan were fantastic. They were quick to respond by phone or email to our questions and Sharon arranged our round-trip transport from the airport. She came to the condo on the day were leaving to make sure we were charged the correct amount on our return to the airport. We all would highly recommend this property for an enjoyable stay in Tamarindo for a large group. Thank you Joel, Dan & Sharon!
