Outstanding layout, excellent appliances, good location & furniture; all very important! Nonetheless we were disappointed that it fell well short of what it could have been. Soon after arrival we found no top sheets on any of the 5 beds (1 also no bottom sheet), just not-recently-cleaned bed covers. We immediately notified the host, who replied the next afternoon âThere should be top sheets on all beds as the cleaner confirmedâ. We knew there should be sheets and we had confirmed that there were not. After waiting a few hrs for a response that did not come until the next day we found partially dried sheets/towels in the dryer and a pile of sheets/towels on the kitchen pantry floor, but it was not clear whether they had been laundered. We finished drying sheets in the dryer & made the beds. 1 star communication. The cleaning crew also failed to vacuum the living room rug, leaving lots of junk on the floor that our toddler wanted to eat. The bathrooms and tile floors were fine, but with sketchy bed covers and 3-month old Christmas tree in the front yard: 2 stars for cleanliness. While the âbig thingsâ in the house were all okay to very good, all the âsmall stuffâ were thrift store caliber: very worn sheets/towels/pillows, hodgepodge dishes/cookware, knives without a clear sharp side. With less than the income from a single rental they could upgrade all this to something more consistent with all the good features of this property.
We went to Tampa for my brothers memorial service and we had our family with us so this house was perfect. 1 hour from Bushnell for his internment and this house is close to 275 so that drive was so easy and Busch Gardens and the Glazer Childrenâs Museum were within 7 minutes drive. The house had a great living and family room and allowing our girls and their families to take the main house and my husband and myself a get away in the bungalow! The pool was perfect for the grandkids!
Also, a mudroom with a full bath. Great property. A minutes drive to everything! Will rent again!
This house was perfect for our family of five adults and three children. It was located close to everything we needed to go to in Tampa. It has a large open space living room kitchen and dining area. There is a Casita outback with its own kitchenette bedroom and bathroom. The kids loved playing in the swimming pool and walking to the park with a playground by the river. I highly recommend this House for your Tampa trip.
Our stay was perfect. Everything was great. The house and pool was great as well. And it was easy to find as well. I will be booking again when we come back. Thank you so much for everything
Unfortunately what should have been two nights of wonder, was a night full of inconveniences. Let me say the home was nice and looked renovated but trash bins outside the home were full and had maggots, the towels and rags werent clean and the kitchenware provided was also not cleaned. We enjoyed the pool and it is a nice size home, pull out mattress did not work forcing us to change some bed room placements, and the toilet in the front was overflowing, overall 3 out of five stars. The communication with the host was also lack luster and a package I got delivered at the home I have yet to recieve.
The house is pretty big and open. I stayed there with my daughter and a few friends. The neighborhood is pretty quiet as far as I know. The pool is nice. Perfect for a quick dip or dive. The neighbors were actually nice as well. The owner is very responsive. Once I got in contact with him in regards to cleaning the pool, he sent someone over right away and also a few times throughout the day to make sure the pool skimmer stayed on and was at the proper level. I will definitely book this place again when Iâm back in Tampa.
