Very clean. Updated, modern & in a nice area. If you book the studio room, you will share kitchen and living room spaces with other guests. Most of the staff were polite and helpful. A few were quite rude and not very accommodating. If you book the pay later option, you will be charged half 72 hours before arrival date and the rest a couple of hours before check in. $32 a night for parking.

After weeks of looking for the perfect location for a few days in Tampa I decided to pick Roost. It's quiet, clean, and has everything you could need. The rooftop pool and shared areas are stunning. Look no further and we can't wait to return again.

Very nice place. No place to park on arrival and hard to see from the street. Very busy area downtown. Its not like a hotel where you have a drive to pull up and go check in.

Great place to stay in Tampa near Amalie Arena

Great place to stay for our quick trip to Tampa for a show at Amalie Arena, which was just a short walk away (less than 5 min). We stayed in a studio and it had plenty of great amenities, super clean, comfy bed, etc. Tons of restaurants nearby. Note that the rooms are located in an apartment/condo building, so there are also residents around. Only thing I wished it had was a floor length mirror for getting ready.
