The perks of this property are absolutely its close proximity to the alpine village and ski lifts. The interior space for our family needs, though sophisticated isnât an accurate description. Cleanliness was a bit of a concern as we found brown stains on the duvet cover which we promptly washed. The space catered to hosting many people with lots of couches, fold out cots, and day beds. The big porch was just a sort of the condo space as well, though nice brides when we were walking in and out of the condo.
Arrived and it seemed the previous guest were a bit rowdy. The condo smelt like marijuana, very stout. A few items were broken as well. I reported those and
It was a great property and a good location. Overall the condo was perfect, but the pillows were awful which impacted all of our sleep. Also, need to upgrade the paper products for the price we paid to stay there. Very scratchy and thin TP and no Kleenex to be found. We had some guys show up to fix the toilet right when we got there and if I was there alone with girls... I would have been a little concerned. Luckily our friend is a plumber so he fixed the problem and sent the "maintenance" guys on there way.
Perfect size for 4 people as the kitchen is well stocked with a great refrigerator and freezer with plenty of room. It snowed a lot during our mid-March visit so the access roads were quite muddy and drove the car instead of walking to the main village. The restaurants were all great but you need reservations for dinner. Overall had a great time and want to return this summer for hiking!
The condo was in a great location, within walking distance to the village and river. It was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Overall, the perfect getaway from the busy city and hot temperatures! There were no issues with the condo itself. The check-in instructions from Vacasa indicated a parking permit was an absolute, but there was no parking permit as stated. I contacted them right away, however, no parking permit was ever provided. The area was not busy at this time of year, so maybe the permit is not a big deal now but I would caution during busy seasons, if they enforce towing.
Beautiful, clean, and stocked condo. Not need to purchase coffee or sugar. Spices there too. Only issue was the gas fireplace. It was not working and we were provided instructions to turn it on. None of us felt comfortable turning in the gas and lighting the pilot light. And no we did not follow up. Such a short time there (missed a day due to the severe weather) did not want to wait for someone to fix.
Comfortable, spacious, and near the slopes. Will come again. Marcia
For those looking for a perfect ski in ski out for families, look no further. This was great. The only minor issue was there was but one kitchen towel. Everything else was perfect.
This was an awesome condo in the Taos Ski Valley! Very clean and super comfortable with everything you might need! Location was good, however not really ski in/ski out which we knew going in- We would rather have updated comfy! I would definitely stay here again. The beds are tempurpedic and oh so comfy! Soft sheets and comfy blankets make it hard to leave! The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you might need! Nice cookware, dishes, utensils, and both a coffee maker and a Kuerig! They even have complementary coffee pods, so nice!!!! Den area is very comfy as well with plenty of seating and a gas fireplace. Overall, this was just the perfect spot for our family to stay in TSV. If you are looking for a very comfy place to stay, look no farther!
Overall I give this property a good rating. Ski in Ski out should have qualifiers of this amenity. It's a short walk but a bit treacherous with the ice and snow. Some expecting to snap on outside the door not so. Unit was clean all plumbing worked inside laundry. Beds comfortable memory foam, liv seating too cushy and used. Main issue was Dish TV just doesn't work. Planned on watching SB in unit but forced to go to bar/restaurant and spend $$$ instead of staying in with food we brought. It should have been communicated there is not traditional local TV, streaming options only on your own. 4 remote controls to work TV
We thoroughly enjoyed the condo. It was just the right size for four adults. It seemed on first glance as clean (overall was clean) but we did notice two puzzle pieces on the carpet, which led us to believe the carpet was not vacuumed after the last renter. We would definitely stay there again. The neighbors were also extremely nice, great location to the village and somewhat ski out.
This condo has everything we needed for our stay. It was has described.
In snowy days, you will need a 4x4 wheel vehicle or snow chain. The condo is 5/10 minutes walking distance from the slopes. Our young adult and teen kids enjoyed this.
If you love nature, itâs the place to be. There are trails and wild animals. And the air is so pure!
The people in Taos and Taos Ski Valley are friendly.
The condo is perfectly furnished and well equipped.
As other found, the beds are very firm, a little uncomfortable.
Overall we like it and enjoyed the fire place !
It was a good place to stay. It was nice and handy for skiing.
Couple of this to improve. I never received a parking pass. It was missing when we got there. Communication was good about the pass when we got there, but I never heard anything more after they said they would take care of it. There was no issue with us being parked there so it wasnât a big concern.
Another recommendation would be to give directions on how to walk to the slope close by instead of walking all the way to the bottom. This would be a great benefit.
The home and location are nice. It is a condo and the walls are very thin so you will hear everyone in the units around you. The issues we had were when we checked in there was left over food from the previous guests in the fridge and a pair of pants sitting on the kitchen table. Also the checkout time of 10am is a little unusual. I've never stayed in a property with a check out before 11am. Also, this is minor, but the door code is 10 digits with no key or way to change it, so every time we came in I had to pull out my phone and find the email to get the code. Most other properties have a 4 digit code, or a key you can use during your stay. Overall, the price and proximity to the resort are good, but the cleanliness, noise and checkout/door issues are bothersome.
