I would not recommend

I would not recommend this hotel. At $500 a night, I expected a much nicer experience. As soon as we entered the room, we were met with flies, gnats, and mosquitoes. I called the front desk, and they said they would contact maintenance, but we had to leave and didn’t feel comfortable having someone in the room while we were gone. When we returned, the bugs were still everywhere. I went to the front desk again, but unfortunately, they had no other rooms available. They called maintenance again, but he said he didn’t even have any bug spray. We ended up buying our own bug spray and spent time trying to kill the bugs ourselves, but it just wasn’t worth the hassle. We ultimately couldn’t stay in the room and left that same night. Getting a refund through Hotels.com has been much harder than if we had booked directly with the hotel. For the price, this experience was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.

The property is nice, but there’s no consideration of the people visiting. I thought this was an adults resort but they rent out the pool to locals and families. I had boys doing cannon balls and locals talking on their cell phones. There’s no ice machines on property and housekeeping only comes upon request. I ordered room service and was offered a bag with all plastic and paper plates. I think if we are going to lower our standards as a hotel, then we need to lower the prices of the rooms.

Great old school resort , with the vineyards and a lot of flowers everywhere. Nice pool area. Stuff at the reception is not welcoming and not really professional. Rooms in the same category are quite different regarding comfort, privacy and views

This villa was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed our nice patio by the vines. One lil thing..perhaps put in some paper towels or napkins for ysing the sink area? This resort was such a relaxing experience for us on my 75th birthday.

Arrived at 3 pm. Room was not ready. Was told that it’d be ready very soon. Walked around the property for 20 min and came back to the small lobby and sat and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally went to the same receptionist at 4:15. And she asked if we’re checking in. Completely oblivious that she saw us earlier and had been sitting within her line of sight for an hour! Didn’t apologize. Got us a room that smell of cooking. Threadbare couches and pathetic patio furniture.

Our hotel room was exceptionally clean, and the property grounds are well maintained. The staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Fresh tacos were made available for purchase on the outdoor patio, which we appreciated for a quick bite while enjoying our wine. However, the hotel is a bit dated, everything closes early, including the surround wineries/vineyards. There was music in the patio area, but no live entertainment throughout our stay, which would have made our experience more enjoyable. Also, the hotel kitchen does not stay open late, so we had to drive into town to get pick up dinner, which was a little bit out of the way. I recommend this resort, but want to others consider these small details when booking.
