The Hager Hideaway is a restored early-1800s farmhouse on a private and peaceful farm with crops and livestock. This 3-bedroom, 1-bath home offers a king bed, full bed, two twin XL beds, a full kitchen, cozy living room, washer and dryer, fire pit, and covered porch. Located just outside Harrodsburg city limits and bordering the Salt River, The Hager Hideaway provides a quiet country setting while still being conveniently located near Historic Downtown Harrodsburg, Danville, and several Kentucky Bourbon Trail destinations. It is also a short drive from the University of Kentucky, Asbury University, Transylvania University, and Centre College.
This beautifully restored farmhouse sits on a working farm where guests can enjoy peaceful views of the countryside, crops, livestock, and the slower pace of country living. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, while one upstairs bedroom offers a full-sized bed and the second upstairs bedroom includes two twin XL beds. A full-size air mattress is also available in the closet beneath the stairs for additional sleeping arrangements if needed.
Guests can enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, washer and dryer, covered front porch, outdoor fire pit area, and plenty of space to relax and unwind.
The property is also home to Salt River Floras, a growing cut flower farm located at The Hager Hideaway. Throughout the growing season, guests may see colorful flower fields, farm stand activity, and seasonal U-pick flower events taking place on the property. Depending on bloom availability and farm schedules, guests may have the opportunity to participate in U-pick flower experiences, build their own bouquets, purchase fresh-cut flowers, or enjoy the flower fields for photography and sightseeing.
Please note that flower experiences, bouquets, and U-pick activities are not included in the nightly rental rate and may be available as optional add-ons during your stay. Availability, pricing, and event schedules vary throughout the season.
Because Salt River Floras is a working flower farm, guests may occasionally see visitors attending scheduled U-pick events or stopping by the farm stand during designated operating hours. The farmhouse and immediate guest areas remain private for registered guests, while designated flower farm areas may be open to visitors during scheduled events.
A small outdoor kennel is available upon request for pets. Please note that the road leading back to The Hager Hideaway is a gravel driveway, adding to the property’s private and secluded country atmosphere.
Whether you’re visiting family, exploring Central Kentucky, touring the Bourbon Trail, attending local events, or simply looking for a peaceful getaway, The Hager Hideaway offers a unique farm stay experience with a little bit of history, hospitality, and country charm
