Very nice house and quiet. The house is a bit farther from each of the park entrances so I recommend not advertising it as a gateway to the parks. Recommend more firm mattresses.
Really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean with all the ammenties you would need for a long weekend in the mountains. It had a wonderful feel of being very private with the convenience of being only a few moments from the town of Three Rivers. We will be staying here again.
We had a wonderful relaxing time. The house is a quiet vacation retreat. It was clean and comfortable for my family. The air conditioning worked perfectly as it was 100 degrees outside when we were there. I would definitely stay there again.
Property was lovely and as advertised. Spacious and perfect to relax after hiking during the early mornings and afternoons. I think those may have been the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Just an FYI, there is a grocery store in town, but we would have saved ourselves a lot of money (and gotten a better selection) stopping in Visalia en route to pick up supplies.
Great house with lots of space and full of everything you'll need. Great place for a family to be together but not on top of each other. Everything worked well....nothing but praise from our family of four weary travelers.
This home was perfect in every way for my family of 5! Very spacious, nice residential neighborhood, close proximity to local restaurants and to Sequoia National Park. A great home away from home!
This property was clean and spacious in a great location minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. Lots of details made or stay great--the tire swing, the giant beanbag, the comfortable deck. Interior finishes are high end and kitchen is well equipped for cooking.
This will be our go to spot whenever we visit the area. The location is remote enough to feel away from the hustle and bustle while close enough to town to get anything needed or go out to eat.
The house is very confortable with a nice living room and terrasse . The location of the house is great!everything was great except maybe not enough nice same dishes / glasses to make nice dinner table and cooking properly. But apart of that I would recommend!
The house was great for the most part. It was awesome to be so close to the park. The house was very spacious and had almost everything we needed to cook our meals while we were there. Candice always responded quick to my questions. It was a great place to relax after our long hikes in the parks. We would definitely stay there again!!!
If I could rate more stars I would the place was spotless everything about this home exceeded my expectations. The host was very responsive and easy to work with.
Property is in a great location. There are a few things that could be improved. The listing states that there is a bbq however it does not say that the guest must provide the propane. The tank is there- the host said we could take it to fill at the mercantile store. The couch needs to be cleaned, itâs gross. The shower between the two bedrooms is difficult to use as the handle seems to be on backwards. We did have a hard time with the oven door staying closed during use and the host came to look at it promptly. we used it once after she left and had the same issue so it was likely operator error. Overall we had a great experience !
Beautiful property near the entrance of the national park. Many stores and cafes near the area while still being secluded. Ample amount of space and comfy beds! Seeing the stars at night on the patio was an absolute dream. Would definitely recommend this property to anybody. Candice is a great host and very quick to message whenever we messaged her. Thank you again.
Overall, this was a great place to stay. The only issue we had was the tub in the one bathroom that didnât drain great, but that can happen anywhere. Other than that, this was a nice place to spend our Christmas holiday and would definitely like to return. Thank you to our host for quick responses!
I wasn't sure what to put overall, cause house is really nice, clean and looks exactly like on photos. We booked 2 nights and when we've arrived late in the evening - heater didn't work at all and as it's November - it's been 59-60 degrees inside all the time. So nothing could be done in the first night and no guarantee it could have been second before the second one. So we've left after first night. Host has been responsive and agreed to do a refund for us. But in general, it's kind of a bummer, cause we had weekend plans and really loved a house, but it's hard to enjoy when you need to be in a jacket inside (also we had small kid and elderly parents with us which unleveled the uncomfortable levels)
This was our 3rd visit to Sequoia NP but our first time staying at this property. This location is very convenient to the amenities of Three Rivers and an easy short drive to the park entrance. The home was clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. We had an issue with the coffee maker our first morning (we need it to function!), and Candice resolved it immediately!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would choose this property again.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer which was a big plus. The kitchen and laundry room were very updated. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone in the area is very friendly. The host was easy to reach, and communicated everything clearly.
Because this house is so close to the park entrance, it is further out from big box stores. The closest Walmart/Target is in Visalia about 30 minutes away. Cell service is spotty, but the wifi worked well.
