Relaxing stay in quiet location

We had a wonderful winter-sun stay in the property. Close enough to PDC Old Town for restaurants and evening entertainment but in a quiet location. Pool and outside space was excellent

Relaxing stay at the villa.

We as three close friends had a wonderful week, very relaxing area on the patio beside the pool. It’s a lovely villa with a lot going for it as long as one is not looking for something too modern and be mindful the decor isn’t what it is made out to be.

Very enjoyable week in Lanzarote

The villa is very spacious and very well equipped. Just a short walk from the supermarket and closest restaurants and bars The facilities are good, especially in the kitchen where the oven, fridge, hob etc is all high end - The outside pool table was an added bonus The biggest positive has to be the guest services who were fantastic, very helpful and this made our stay all the more pleasant. I’d definitely recommend this villa and company for future holidays ,

Family holiday - June 2025

We had a brilliant holiday at the villa, everything we needed. Loved the swimming pool and table tennis...pool tale needs upgraded! Kitchen had everything we needed and bbq was a bonus. Over all a great place to stay. Only downside was you are quite far back and we needed taxis as my husband has asthma and couldn't tackle hills on way back up. Still a great Villa though and staff are very quick to answer any questions ❤️

Villa in a secure quiet spot, it has home from home facilities,some issues addressed with the host but this did spoil our stay Supermarket, bars and resturants just a short stroll away The old town and Marina is down hill, so for anyone with walking issues grab a taxi it was around 3 euros each way Parking available in the villa grounds via an electric gate, pool warm (but we did pay extra for it heated) Overall, lovely villa, away from the hussle and bussle, but not far to walk to the old town

Beautiful property in a peaceful location

Beautiful property that is very well maintained. Has every possible amenity that you could need. High end kitchen appliances/ multiple coffee machines/ extensive glassware etc. Located on a quiet street a 4 minute walk from the nearest Spar and multiple restaurants. Private pool area with plenty of loungers. The outdoor seating area is shielded from the wind so can sit out at night time. Unobtrusive professional hosts that were very easy to contact via WhatsApp and were always responsive. Àngela who dealt with the booking and Matthew who completed the check-in were both very helpful and able to answer any questions.

Fabulous week in the Sun

This villa was the perfect choice for our first holiday for a couple of year it gave us options to explore the island or stay in the the villa with all of it’s facilities, playing table tennis or pool and sunbathing on the terrace before cooling off in the pool, The off road parking was also useful with the electric gate giving extra security Inside, the villa is fully equipped with a fully equipped kitchen with good quality white goods catering for all of the family’s needs, the villa gives the option the dine inside or outside, the barbecue worked well with charcoal and lighters supplied to make things easier All in all I would highly recommend this villa and I look forward to return as soon as possible

Very Relaxing Time

Villa Maria del Risco was a home from home, so much so we wished we had booked a second week. Internet dropped out for the last two days, but this wasn’t an issue and I didn’t report it. If I had I am sure that David and the team would have had it sorted in no time. Communications before and during our stay were excellent and I cannot recommend this villa highly enough.

Nice holiday - quiet residential area

Nice villa, quite close to old town but very steep steps / hills to get there and back so may want to consider a taxi which were very easy to get. The villa and pool was an ideal size for 6 people and had most of the things you would need, however we felt that some areas could do with upgrading / replacing such as the kitchen ware and pillows and the pool needed a good deep clean around the water level area. There were a few issues on arrival but the property management company were very quick with their communications and extremely quick to react to these problems and resolve them for us.

Amazing villa

From start to finish we were very happy with the villa , only two of us stayed, there would be no problem with 6 people staying here , 4 people very comfortably, villa had everything you needed , very clean, communication was above and beyond from start to finish, location very good away from noise but still easy enough walk into town and strip, 5 minute walk to spar and 10 minutes to super dino supermarket which had a bigger selection, when we arrived we walked down to a supermarket called mercadona just beside farrinos hotel bought a big shop there cause taxi rank just outside the door and we only waited few minutes and straight back up to the villa which was very handy overall I would highly recommend this villa and more than likely stay here again

Gorgeous villa

We loved our stay here with our 2 young children (18months and 3yrs). The villa is so spacious and having CBeebies available on the TV was a massive plus when the weather dipped a bit! The beds were super comfy and the layout of the place worked so well with small children. The additional door to the living space meant we didn't have to be quiet once the kids were in bed. The location is GREAT, super quiet but also close to the coastal path and a great Spar. Karima and the team were super helpful and speedy with the responses to a couple of small issues we had. This was our first visit to Lanzarote and we'll definitely be back, highly recommend.

Fantastic

This house is a gem it has absolutely everything you need! The location is a short walk to the old town and a quick taxi to the new town! There is a shop,couple of pubs at the end of the road within a 2 min walk! I would highly recommend and will definitely return! My only comment for the owners would be perhaps include a few more cleaning products(bleach for toilets etc and a hoover maybe just to be able to keep it as clean as possible) or perhaps give the option of cleaners coming during the stay even once but it is a 10/10 for us we loved every minute! The owners thought of everything!!

Fantastic place to stay. Quite area, but so close to the hussle and bussle of the Old Town in Putero del carmen. The Villa was beautiful and perfect for our family. Shops, beachs, bars are so close. It was perfect!

Lovely villa and great service from Buenavilla. The live chat facility on the app Buenavilla provides was great. We were offered to drop off our suitcases to the villa even though our flight was very early - this was very helpful. Just one small problem with the villa (electricity tripped) and through the live chat, a member of Buenavilla staff was there within an hour to sort it. I would definitely choose a villa managed by Buenavilla again.
