This was a true 5 Star cabin located in Tiger, GA. The fireplace is the center piece of this cabin when itâs cold outside. All the furniture was comfortable and usable. There was the most beautiful Christmas tree already lit along with a Sâmores station on the counter ready for use. Entrance into the cabin uses a code specialized for each resident that does not require a key. There is no cell service so the WiFi system was excellent. There are plenty of towels and wash cloths. Even shampoo, conditioner, and body wash of upscale quality are provided. The value of this property far exceeds the modest cost.Constructive suggestions for improvement:- water heater could be larger- shower water pressure too weak.- ensure salt/pepper is provided. There was no salt.
This is an excellent place to stay. It's a nice quiet valley and the cabin is very clean and decorated well. They put out stuff for making s'mores, which was really sweet. We enjoyed the fire pit.
Scott Meeks is over the top at communication and anticipation of our needs. The home is charming and we so enjoyed the fire pit! Beds were very comfortable and the living room seating was ample. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Rustic elegance-just divine! Cozy, quiet and a book lovers delight. The hosts thought of everything and we thoroughly enjoyed this easy to get to log cabin.
Scott was an excellent host and available for questions. The cabin was clean and cozy. Scott's description of the driveway is accurate, but you might need a 4 wheel drive! :)
Great house! Had everything you would need and the hosts added some extra nice touches with the smores kits and the coffee pods were LOVED! Thank you for making our short stay easy.
Had a very nice one night stay. 3 bedroom 2 bath with walk in showers and wonderful kitchen with washer dryer Gas grill on back deck. When back in Clayton area would love to stay here again
The cabin is the perfect combination of cozy and simple but with updated appliances. There are appreciated little touches throughout to make guests feel welcome and at home. The location is truly quiet and peaceful but very accessible to downtown Clayton.
We were looking to get away for the weekend to relax and do a little hiking. The Summer's End Cabin was so nice that we ended up doing a little more relaxing and a little less hiking. The cabin was super clean, quiet and cozy, and Colleen and Scott covered all the bases in providing directions, helpful hints and any other pertinent information. Our only regret was not staying longer. We will definitely be back!
House was just as described! Very well stocked home with comfy furniture and bedding. We tried to use the fire pit but sadly the weather did not want to cooperate so we just enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the sound of the rain and being in the house. Internet had a bit of trouble but again, I think that had more to do with the weather than anything else. Driveway is a bit steep but if you follow the directions that host gives you, youâll have no trouble at all. Great communication with the hosts⊠would recommend and rerun again with no hesitation! Thanks for a great weekend!
Every year 5 friends get together for a âwine weekend in the mtnsâ and this year we went to Clayton. This cabin is adorably decorated with every amenity you would need. They provide coffee, toiletries and the cutest sâmores station. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
My group was doing the Chattahoochee Backcountry Discovery Route on our motorcycles, and we loved this amazing rustic cabin from the minute we saw it at the top of the drive.Spotlessly clean with a modern kitchen, a beautiful great room, two master bedrooms and a sleeping loft, it was a welcome rest from our long day's ride.We enjoyed a couple sun-setters on the porch and slept like babies.
Summers end cabin was exactly what I was looking for around Clayton. Sufficiently isolated from other places. In the woods. Simple rustic aesthetic. The price was fair. Thanks. We would like to come again.
