Comfortable and cosy village hotel

Pros: Bijou, charming and full of character. Bar staff were brilliant !
We had an unfortunate reason for staying at the Globe due to a family bereavement, but the lovely staff (Becca really couldn’t do enough to make sure that our party were comfortable and made us feel really welcome !) were a real plus. Food was very good and priced about right - bar and facilities good, clean and recently updated. The only constructive criticism could be that the bathroom in the room was a bit dated - clean and tidy but not glass and chrome as you’d get in a ‘formula’ hotel but that didn’t both me at all, given the charm and character overall. I’ll definately stay again when I’m in the area!
