I loved this place. My only siggestion would be to have adults only designated times at the pool. For a spa facility like this, its not great to see the pool and hot tub areas monopolized by young fanilies with loud young children even at 8pm at night. Orherwise a great stay.

Really happy with our stay at the black rock. Service is great. The view and location of the hotel is unbeatable. The suite is clean. Having EV charging on site is extremely convenient. Would love to be back!

My husband and I had an excellent 3 night stay here! As expected, it was in a gorgeous location, right on the ocean, with multiple ocean views from the property, beach access very close by, and easy access to the Pacific Coast Trail. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our forest view room was beautifully laid out, clean, spacious, and had comfortable beds; the bathroom was amazing too! We only dined at one of the restaurants on site, but it was reasonably-priced and had tasty food. Outdoor hot tubs and pool were great, also with incredible views of the ocean. The deck off of our room unfortunately wasn't private, as when sitting out on it, neighboring guests might be sitting out on their decks too, and you're all able to see each other. A minor downside though to an otherwise incredible stay!

A 5-star wilderness adventure experience - we watched whales breaching off shore while dining in Currents Restaurant. A spectacular wild coast trail runs through the property and up and down the coast. The town of Ucluelet is a short walk away with its shops, cafes, restaurants and adventure centres.
