This was our first trip to Ucluelet and a friend recommended us to consider Blackrock resort fornour stay. I am glad we booked this property. The location is amazing. The ocean facing rooms had amazing views of thebwaves crashing on the rocks. Currents restaurant has some delightful food with great service. We were checked in by Cora and Gurpreet at the front desk. They both were very friendly and did there best in ensuring our stay was comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to my family and freinds.

Amazing waterfront setting. The room was lovely but lacking some basic practical details, e.g. poor options for hanging and storing clothes - please add a few wall hooks, more hangers in the closet and a second suitcase stand. View out window is nice but there's a walking path just a few feet from the window, so poor privacy.

The rooms were immaculate, tranquil, and inviting. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen in the room. We had a corner room with a balcony view of the ocean. The bathroom was huge and had a very big shower and bathtub. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely 3 night getaway

The location is unbeatable. We had a studio room in one of the cabins away from the main building. All of the appliances, furniture and fixtures were in great shape. Loves the balcony, washing machine, walk in shower and comfy king-sized bed! The views from the restaurant, lounge, and pool area are stunning! A short walk into town and lots of beaches and trails to explore just steps from the resort. Our spa experience was absolutely heavenly!

We spent 4 nights in 1 bedroom TRAIL suite. View was exceptional and close access to nearby Big Beach and Wild Pacific Trail. The suite was huge - fireplace - state of the art appliances (fridge, DW, 2 burner induction range, combination MW/Convection smart oven). Kitchen was well equipped (we made breakfast each morning)....french press coffee (a few packets provided - we brought our own)....tea bags. All windows have black out blinds - large patio with chairs (small tables) provided. Bed was very comfortable...the bathroom had a free standing tub and rain shower...very large and well designed with modern fixtures. Flat screens in both living room and bedroom. Heat pump. I suggest scanning the QR code provided and reading about the operation of the appliances/heat pump. We did do an 'upgrade' on our reservation and requested an unobstructed view (it was beautiful) but even without an upgrade, it would be hard to get a room without a view....if there are rooms without ocean view, I would imagine it would be rainforest and lush. We loved the sound of the surf beating against the black rocky terrain of the shoreline. The chowder is great and I suggest giving it a try. The only slight inconvenience was parking - spaces are not assigned to room and while we were never 'far' from our vehicle and always found a spot - returning back to the resort after dinner, the spaces were full and we had to scout around the adjacent lot to find parking. All in all....we had a great stay!

This is a fantastic place to stay in so many respects. Its location right on the ocean creates idyllic views. The rooms are tastefully appointed and stocked to fulfill your most important needs. We lost a couple of items during our stay and the staff went out of their way to locate them for us. The spa has a serene environment. A special shout out to Tyler, Emily and especially Alejandro and Paul at the front desk. We love this place!

This is an amazing property surrounded by nature. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I would stay there again in a minute. I do wish they had a sauna and a bigger hot tub. (Hot tub was full of wedding guests when I visited.)

We truly loved our stay> The resort is gorgeous, as is the surrounding area. There are beautiful walks and a beach right at your doorstep. The rooms in the lodge are newly renovated and well equipped. Very nice! The restaurant and lounge were very nice, good offerings. We were disappointed the muscles were no longer on the menu though. The resort does have 2 hot tubs and a plunge pool, we had hoped to use however the water level in the tubs was very low ( just slightly above the jets ) so you were only waist deep in water. Not sure why it was low, maybe just the day we wanted to use it. Overall great stay and we will be back!
