The room smelled heavily of smoke, making it completely uninhabitable. We couldn’t even use the air conditioning because it made the smell worse. The hotel was dirty, the pool was closed, and nothing matched what was shown on Expedia. The photos were completely inaccurate, and the conditions were unacceptable

Meets the bar

Other than a weird lack of ice buckets and a skimpy breakfast, this was the first decent hotel we found in sub-$100 range. Slight floral scent. Sink drained slowly. No ice bucket; front desk offered "bag or cups". Light leaked through windows. Breakfast included make-your-own waffles, but no proteins. No hot chocolate. Large/elongated toilets. Motel parking. No highway noise.
