The underground parking entrance is located on the South side of Gerrard street between Yonge St and Bay St. The hotel underground car park has a maximum height restriction of 5 feet, 6 inches in certain areas and cannot accommodate oversized passenger vehicles.
The Family Fun Zone on the 2nd floor, including the swimming pool and waterslide, Teen Lounge, Kid Centre, saunas, and self-service laundry facilities, is closed for renovations until the end of January 2026. During this time, the Kid Centre has been relocated to the Club Lounge (27th floor), available Sunday-Thursday from 9 AM-5 PM, and Friday-Saturday from 9 AM-9 PM (closed daily from noon to 1 PM). The pool on the 27th floor is open to all guests from 6 AM-11 PM.
This hotel will enact the following policy for stay dates during Caribana Toronto and New Year's Eve: Each guest must register with the hotel and receive a wristband; no more than 3 wristbands per room. A wristband is required for room access after 9 PM.

Great staff, Rooms outdated and in need of repair

Our stay was generally okay, but we noticed a large water stain on the ceiling in our room, which was concerning. We mentioned it to the front desk, but they said they would only look at it after we checked out, which didn’t feel reassuring. It made us uncomfortable knowing there might be a leak or potential mold issue. The room otherwise was clean but outdated and in need or repair. In the morning I was told that due to booking with Hotels.com there was little that they could do. Ultimately offering a discount through Hotels.com which we are still waiting for.
Water damage that was not checked. Even after calling to investigate if active or existing.

Tried to cancel 48 hours before arrival through Expedia because husband was in hospital for emergency. Expedia said Chelsea would not cancel reservation and I'll have to pay full price. They are- I believe- still trying but if they fail- that is pretty awful customer service.

It has become my go to hotel if I have to attend events in the Toronto downtown area and walking or public transportation or uber make sense more than trying to use my car..Given its location it is not the quietest place but certainly better than staying right by the 401. The Marketplace restaurant means I can find food when I need it.
