The building and the room were beautiful. The server at breakfast was kind and accommodating. The spa is closed Sunday and holidays which seems odd and was inconvenient because it's the only amenity the hotel has. It may be the age of the building but you can hear quite a bit of noise from the hallway. I was grateful that it was a quiet weekend at the end otherwise it would have been very disruptive. I would return, nice play for a staycation and lots of good food options on the menu and in the area.

Overall our stay was very nice and would return. The only negative during our trip was the noise from the other guests and their children. We were not expecting the noise as the Glenerin inn is portrayed as a peaceful and relaxful get-a-way. At arrival it even mentioned how you could lose your deposit if noise/ or a disturbance was caused. With that being said the Inn is a host to several venues which at the time of our stay there was a wedding taking place. One of the guests attending the wedding and their children had stayed overnight. From 8:00PM - 10:30PM their kids were screaming, crying, and sounded like they were banging on the walls in the room/halls. In addition to that the parents were yelling loudly at the kids. The Inn itself is very tight and the inside of the rooms are very close together/ close to the hall so we heard everything as they frequented the rooms and halls. Aside from that inconveinence, the Inn was beautiful. It is situated on a great peice of land with nice scenery and was in itself very relaxful. The staff were very friendly upon greeting. The rooms were clean and had everything needed for a nice get away. One thing my partner and I noticed and loved were the bed linens - good quality and we had a restful sleep. Overall, great place and we will be returning for the spa.

Staff was excellent. Beautiful location. Unfortunately we were not part of the wedding which was going on you in our stayand there was a lot of noise all through the night. Our room was located over the garbage and we heard glass being dumped late during the night, which woke us up as well as guest, slamming doors all through the night. Totally understand weddings are a lot of fun and a wonderful time to celebrate, but we were looking for a quiet retreat. And perhaps maybe they could give the guests that we’re not involved in the wedding a room which was further away from the festivities.

A delightful Girls Spa get away

Visited mid week for a girls Spa getaway. Rooms were well appointed. We loved the attention to the small details that left us feeling pampered. The historical Inn was completely renovated a few years back and still had that newly restored look to it. Its located close to hiking trails which we took full advantage of. Definately worth a 2nd visit.
