I shared with reception that my room was incredibly noisy. (It was near the lifts.) Additionally the TV was wonky-It sometimes worked and sometimes didn’t. Lastly, the closet light came on when you hit the bathroom door frame. Overall the room was well designed but I would not likely stay again.

There are better options than Hilton in TO.

Room was clean but not in great shape. Door was falling apart, no shampoo or conditioner (bottles were empty). Front desk was not very helpful and not overly friendly when we asked for help with a couple of things . Room service was not available when we wanted it (late afternoon). Decided to try breakfast at the hotel the next morning. Surprised by a 50.00 breakfast buffet charge- we looked at the buffet and it was not impressive. Nothing made to order like omelettes or anything. Just serve yourself basic scrambled eggs etc. We decided to order from the menu instead of buffet. Service was incredibly slow. Kids ordered waffles . When they finally came they were cold and served with no syrup. Had to wait for syrup to be brought out and by then the waffles were hard and extremely cold. They charged for coffee refills . We were charged for a fruit bowl that never came- and when we asked for it to be taken off the bill, the waiter argued that we did get it. He then resorted to counting the plates on the table to make sure we weren’t lying . They ended up taking the charge off the bill. But in the end , we paid 160.00 for breakfast - 2 teas, 1 coffee, 4 waffles, granola and fruit and eggs Benny. This on top of the service we received, we won’t be staying here again. Many better options in downtown Toronto.

Friendly Staff

The hotel staff were very nice, however, being more knowledgeable about the outside surroundings would help. The person I dealt with during check in didn’t know of any places outside of the hotel to grab a quick bite. Thankfully we met a local outside who guided us just one block away to a mall like place that had 2 food courts. Also the shower ceiling was peeling which I was surprised considering it’s a Hilton Hotel. The in house restaurant is extremely expensive. Not very budget friendly, nor were there any options that were kid friendly which was surprising as there were so many families/kids staying there.

Spacious rooms, clean , very nice decor. Check in staff was not clear about surcharges of checking in early. Never been charged to check in early to a hotel room that was already available. If they would have move me then I get it but why charge if the room is empty. For that reason we chose to not spend more money in the hotel. However the valet service was outstanding, friendly and kind, prompt with service .
