My friend and I stayed at the Hotel RIU Plaza on November 25, 2025. It was literally a 5 min walk to the Princess of Wales theatre (Sound of Music) which was ideal. The staff and service were absolutely incredible. We will definitely stay there again. Well done!! Shelley

From the moment I walked in until the moment I left I was thrilled with my stay. The staff were welcoming and my room was exactly as I had requested. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities I needed. The hotel itself is quiet, but in a great area to access theatres and all the other things a person comes to Toronto to see and do. I particularly enjoyed the full breakfast. The hotel definitely aligned with my knowledge of the Riu brand. I would not hesitate to stay there again and to recommend to others. I have already raved about it to my coworkers!

We switched our rooms twice, the first time due to shower still under construction, and the second room still had issues with the shower (as in the shower hose had barely any pressure) the water was barely getting warm and by this time of night we were to exhausted to wait for another accommodation. The chrome cast on the tv did not work for Netflix. We called the front desk for updated room wifi since the your log in depends on your room (weird). The person on guest services was so rude and I quote said “you can’t just forget your wifi is mentioned on the sheet you got at check in” but this idiot should’ve known we changed rooms. The staff at the restaurant and the staff greeting you in the hallways and lobby are so kind, but the guest services employee working November 25th at 7:30 needs to be reprimanded. It’s an entirely different experience from actual RIU resorts in the Caribbean

New hotel. Staff always present to greet you or to say goodbye. They get your elevator for you. The most welcoming and friendly hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was clean. The breakfast was amazing and the staff there, incredibly attentive and kind. I would definitely stay here every time I'm in Toronto.

I loved the hotel and its décor. The room was clean and featured comfortable double beds. The staff were attentive, courteous, and friendly. The buffet breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options from vegan to carnivore. The hotel is also centrally located, within walking distance of the CN Tower, St. Lawrence Market, Graffiti Alley, and the Queen West neighborhood. I highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely spotless room, shower was nice & I loved how staff always were greeting us throughout our stay and the breakfast was absolutely delicious I do say I wish they give an option on take out boxes for leftovers
