Disgusting and poorly maintained property – avoid at all costs!
We were absolutely appalled by the state of this rental. Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that cleanliness and maintenance are not a priority for the owner or management. The photos on the listing are misleading and do not reflect the true condition of the property.Major issues we encountered:•Filthy mattress – Stains and no proper mattress cover. It looked old, unsanitary, and downright unhygienic.•Disgusting grill area – The BBQ was caked in grease and rust, with garbage (including empty beer cans and food containers) stored inside the cabinet next to the propane tank. The grill grates themselves were filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages.•Unclean kitchen appliances – The dishwasher had visible grime and buildup, and the coffee maker was disgusting inside. The kettle was damaged and appeared unsafe to use.•Exterior neglect – Weeds growing up through the front steps, trash overflowing from bins with garbage scattered on the ground, and stains/marks across the front porch.•General dirtiness – From cobwebs to stained surfaces, nothing about this place felt properly cleaned or maintained.This property should never have been rented in this state. It’s clear there’s no proper cleaning between guests, and basic maintenance is being ignored. It was both unsanitary and unwelcoming.If you value cleanliness, safety, and honesty in a vacation rental, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.
