Check-in was a miss this time, this is a normal hotel we frequent staying at. No water in the room, I was told I needed to pay $30 for early check-in. Expedia $20 food & beverage credit was missed - had to go back to the front desk later on for it. Just overall not the greatest.

I will continue to stay at One King West. The customer service is truly great, and always service with a smile. Very relaxed atmosphere and quiet in the hotel. I'm always with a little one, and it's not necessarily a child-friendly location - King and Yonge is loud and bustling and not child-friendly either - but the staff teams are always overly to my little one. Thank you for always being home away from home.

Not as good as rated

This is rather a 3 star hotel than a 4 star. And I don‘t get the 9+ rating it is rather an 8. Old building, old rooms though renovated at one point. AC was quite loud, the carpet was stained, the bathroom was partially old with wallpaper and the bed was too short. Also the hotel reception are was rather unspectatcular and dark. The location is very good though. It was from about 9 4 star hotels we had booked the least nicest and least best.

One of my favourite hotels I've ever been to. Staff is super attentive and the quality of rooms are top tier! Not to mention the incredible location. Booking with Expedia also gave us $20 food vouchers!

Great place to stay. The staff are pleasant an the rooms are nice. The elevator wait can be long but no big deal. The major issue I have is that the shower is very unsafe. The floor is slopped with a drain in the middle with slippery tiles. There are no warning signs so upon stepping in, I slid and fell down bruising my arm, hurting my foot and banging my head. I'm actually surprised something like this passed a safety inspection!

I reserved this property for my parents to celebrate their 85th and 86th birthdays. The hotel staff took exceptional care to ensure they enjoyed their stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful! The lobby is small as it shares the bar and restaurant but it was nice. Our room was old and dated and dirty. I guess that's why they call it the 'Historic Tower'! Old is one thing but dirty has no excuse! Wasted space to have a full kitchen maybe if you stayed for a month but one night, was not needed. Bathroom was filthy. Hair, and dust and dirt. I wouldn't even shower. Towels are super old and ruff. Price was not worth it. Would not stay again!
