This is our hotel of choice when we stay up in the Traverse Area. Our kids love the heated outdoor pool and the option for the indoor pool/spa if the weather doesn't cooperate. It's also walkable to downtown or they have a shuttle. We were bummed that they took away the complimentary breakfast (we were unaware of this when we booked). It would be nice if they at least served coffee in the lobby for free but the new bistro did have good coffee and latte's. Also, we had one incident where we were overcharged for food at the Patio (restaurant outside) My husband asked about it and the way the employee responded was not professional. We decided to just let it go and not let it ruin our vacation but it was bothersome. Other than a few minor things it was a great stay but the hotel is pretty expensive so it would have been nice to avoid this little mishaps.

We stayed here for our first time celebrating our 10 year anniversary. The few times we needed to reach front desk from our room nobody was available. We’d have to call 3 or 4 times every time and it’d be 5-10 minutes before someone would call. We ordered some food from Artisan (restaurant in hotel) one of the apps we ordered (shrimp cocktail) was served as if it was taken out of the bay. It wasn’t deveined and was dirty! We couldn’t be believe they allowed it to leave the kitchen without a simple clean. We were sketched out and went elsewhere for dinner
