This hotel was just ok. We didn't like that the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The outside of the hotel looked kind of rundown. The inside had a strong smell of cleaning product when you walked in. Breakfast was nothing great. The front staff wasn't at the desk when we arrived and wasn't there when we came back. They also weren't very friendly. Seemed like they could care less.

The place is very clean, beds are comfortable, staff very friendly, convenient to everything, parking is easy. The only disappointment was the pool, hot tub area. My daughter and I like to relax in a hot tub on vacay. There was a very strong odor, vinegar like, that burned our eyes and it was difficult to breathe. I believe I read a response to a past comment, that it is due to the cedar lined area. Even so, it was not good.I am not sure if it needs better ventilation, but it didn't seem healthy :). We tried 2 different nights thinking maybe the 1st night, was a fluke...no luck.

Margie who was in charge of the breakfast are was amazingly helpful answering questions we had about the local wineries and interesting tourist areas around the city and countryside. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Hotel smelled terrible. Pool was disgusting, dirty, and smelled raunchy. We stayed in a suite with a spa tub. The spa tub was inside the bedroom, not in a bathroom. The entire room smelled like mildew, floor was covered with stains, and dirty. There was only one window air conditioner/thermostat in the bedroom, the separate “living room” area did not have its own unit. You have to leave the doors between the rooms wide open in order to have any climate control in the living room area. It was a hot weekend when we stayed, the living room area was warm the whole time, so we spent all our time in the bedroom, where we could keep it cool. We booked the room for 3 nights, we tried to check out after the first night and stay somewhere else due to the disgusting hotel. However, the general manager refused to refund us for the other 2 nights if we checked out. I am an ex hotel general manager and never heard of a hotel that would refuse guests the opportunity to check out early. Do not stay here!

Terrible Service

After being told on the phone twice that we could have an early check-in, the manager refused to let us check in early, would not keep our belongings so we could change for a family wedding, and was extremely rude!! Do NOT stay here. Baywatch is lovely across the street!
