Tori is a great host. This little cabin right on the river has lots of personality and is very cozy on a chilly fall day. Loved the river traffic, barges, fisherman, the lock and dam, trains going by. Good restaurants, nearby orchards and wineries. A great little spot to get just away.
Beautiful and breezy; a touch of fall. Immaculate cabin with everything one would want or need! Easy biking to town and Perrot State Park and the Trempealeau Wildlife Refuge.
This place was just as stated in ad. We travel to the area once a year to fish, having a dock was very nice. Although it rained two days of the stay we sat in the screened in deck. Would highly recommend staying here. The owner answered questions that I had in a very timely manner.
Truly river-front, without trains between the cabin and the river...not usual for Mississippi River rentals. Super-clean and incredibly well-furnished and set up! Best bed we ever slept on. Cabin comes with a canoe and virtually anything your heart desires. Easy bicycle-proximity to Trempealeau center, Perrot State Park, the marsh trails, and Trempealeau 'lakes' for great kayaking. Cat Daddy's bar and grill is next door, but we found the proximity just fine...cabin windows close-to-soundproof if needed, and the atmosphere was truly delightful over Father's Day weekend. Bring your walking sticks to get to the dock safely if you are octogenarians like us! Can't wait for our next visit in September!
It is great getaway place for people who want to relax and enjoy quiet, beautiful nature. Very comfortable place for few people with everything you need to feel like youre home.
This cabin is right on the river and the view is wonderful. There is always trains near the river, but the sound isnt an issue here. We will definitely rent again.
Stayed here to go fishing on the river for a few days, it was nice being able to walk down to our boat and not have to launch it every day. The Bar right next door also said we could tie our boat onto their dock if we wanted. Only downsides are the bar restaurantcan be loud at night since its so close to it, also the train going by accross the river wakes you up every hour with its loud horn but thats pretty much everywhere in trempealeau id guess,
