The view and the patio were next level. We chose the Baker house because it was very well appointed and near everything that we planned to see. We regret not having more time to spend at the house but made a point to be on the patio for a spectacular sunset.

Absolutely Incredible place to stay. Perfect location for going north to various Redwood Parks, or south to the Ave. of the Giants. The town was quaint and safe and the people were so nice. The house had plenty of room and was so comfortable. The deck was great for evening meals. The hot tub was nice after all-day hikes. Oh and the weather in Aug is awesome (we're from Texas) such a wonderful climate 62 day / 51 night. And lastly the view from the deck of Trinidad Bay, the boats, the marina. THE SUNSET ! ....HEAVEN !

The property is in a great location with a great view. We enjoyed the hot tub but were a little disappointed with the deck furniture. Very dirty, cushions/umbrella were ripped and hammock had mold. I understand wear and tear due to weather, but when the selling point is the deck/view these things should be in better shape. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Kitchen had very little spices, etc. for cooking.

Amazing home and property

This was the perfect home for our four night stay in Trinidad. The house fit our needs in every manner. The location surpassed our hopes - close to the wonderful town of Trinidad and closer to a beautiful NorCal beach.

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful property with great views, well designed home and had many amenities. Very comfortable beds, always hot water in the showers, many extras in the kitchen to use when making meals, hot tub was clean and ready to use, and the view was the absolute best! The property management was great to work with and any questions I had they responded promptly. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for making our vacation a wonderful one!

Beautiful View and Cozy Place

The view in person is just as good as the ones online! We really enjoyed listening to the waves from the hot tub in the evenings
.and then enjoying the fireplace :-). I appreciated that the rooms were quite dark and quiet at night which meant our whole family slept well. The beds were cozy and the house is clean. Only item I would change is to have a few food storage containers. We did a day trip every day (sue-meg, one of the red wood parks, etc) and I wish we had some things to pack sandwiches and snacks. Really fantastic house and would recommend!

Gorgeous Secluded Home With Breathtaking Ocean Views Surrounded By Redwoods!

My husband, 16 year old son and I really enjoyed our long weekend at this gorgeous home! Beautiful inside and out! Clean and cozy. The linens were fresh and I really appreciated the smallest touches down to the sink being stocked with dish soap as well as hand soap and tissues in every bathroom. Very secluded. Gorgeous expansive ocean views from living, dining, kitchen area. And it was heaven to sit out on the huge deck and enjoy the stunning view and beautiful landscaping. At night the outdoor fire pit was easy to use and warmed us up! As did the hot tub on the second tiered deck which worked very well! And there was a basket of fresh towels by the back door for us! The wood burning stove in the living room was awesome and the home was already stocked with wood for us. 5 minute moderate hike down to the lovely beach. Town of Trinidad 5 minutes away - really small but what is there is very good - pizzeria, cafe, excellent grocery store, and taqueria in the gas station. Amazing hikes and beaches not too far away. This home is just such a great base to explore the Redwood Coast - we can’t wait to come back!

Paradise on the Pacific

Wd had a great stay ar this beautiful home. It was secluded and very well appointed. Sitting in the hot tub looking down at the ocean was awesome. The beds were so comfortable. We went to Trinidad State Beach a few mins away .. great to walk the beach. All in all a great stay.

This was a perfect spot for our family. It was an exceptional way to visit the redwoods. Trinidad is a lovely town with a nice little grocery store, restaurants and beautiful beaches. Spectacular view overlooking the Ocean .

Beautiful house overlooking the ocean . Easy beach access. We came to visit the Redwoods National Park and this house is close to the South entrance . The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook during your stay . Even though the road was below us, it was very quiet which we enjoyed. We would have loved to stay longer .

The view is fantastic

The deck is fabulous. My mother in law loved being on the deck and watching the sun go down. There was 5 of us, all over 65. We enjoyed the house. It was well stocked with a grocery store near by. It was a great place to make memories. Thank you for letting us share in this little slice of heaven.

Spectacular views

We stayed here with our 3 kids on our Northern California vacation. The house was exactly what we thought it would be from the photos. Very clean, beds were comfortable, great view, hot tub was nice for the boys to play, easy trip into Trinidad to get groceries, a bite to eat, a hike on the head trail or a trip to the beach. Plus its close to some of the most amazing hikes in the Redwood National Forest, and not too far from some of the more built up towns of Eureka and McKinley if you are looking for more things to do.

Best outdoor space ever!

We fell in love the minute we drove up to the home. So secluded and surrounded by beautiful trees. The home is lovely, however, the outdoor space stole the show. We spent every evening on the patio next to the fire pit and heaters and it was like a slice of heaven. They were so kind to refill our propane when we asked. We will definitely be returning to this gem one day. Absolutely, loved it!

Great Getaway, but lacking personal touch

To be clear, this property experience really was lovely. The location to Trinidad and its surrounding attractions were perfect. The hot tub and view from the deck were fabulous. I think my only “complaint” would be that I look for an experience full of personal touches when I book through Vrbo and I was unaware this was a rental through a property company. The hosts were very responsive, but it’s clear the property is a rental due to the lack of “lived in” feel. I’d recommend it as a place to stay, but just don’t expect personal! :-)

Beautiful ocean views and short distance from redwoods

We had a wonderful stay at the Baker beach house! It served as the perfect home base for our redwood park trip. A reasonable distance from all the major hikes we wanted to do and after a long day of hiking we returned to an immaculate house with the most exceptional outdoor space. Early morning coffee by the outdoor fireplace with ocean views and evenings in the hot tub with even better ocean views. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect house for our family!
