Lovely quirky place

Lovely, quirky place to stay, lots of original features in keeping with the beautiful town of Troyes. Great location. Check in a couple streets away but all very easy & very helpful with recommendations on nearby parking & places to eat. Not a luxury apartment but really enjoyed being in the heart of the town in place full of character

The property is very quaint and in the pedestrianised part of the old town, which is lovely and handy for an evening stroll. Our apartment was on the top floor, which was a little bit of a challenge with a baby and pram/luggage (no lift, so beware when booking). The apartment was clean but a bit "unfinished" looking with some raw edges to the kitchenette counters and a very exposed water tank in the bathroom. The shower and cubicle weren't very practical for anyone taller than 5ft5 and led to a LOT of water ending up on the floor. In addition, the towels smelled a bit off, so I am unsure of the washing process. Overall, it was a nice place, but there is a bit of a snagging list of things that need "finishing" for it to be in tip top condition.

The hotel manager didn't care. All he wanted was money. The apartment we booked was for 4 motorcycle friends on a tour. We booked the apartment because it had 4 beds. The instructions by Expedia said contact the property 24 hours before arrival. Someone would then meet you at the property. We did this telling them we were arriving on motorcycles. We had no reply from the property manager. This was repeated 12 hours before arrival. Again no reply. We arrived at the apartment and phoned them. They told us we had to go to another location (St George Hotel) to get the keys. We left the bikes at the apartment and walked. When we arrived at the hotel we were told there was no parking and only two places at the hotel. We managed to find one at the apartment and fitted the other three into a small space at the hotel. We were given the keys to the apartment after a tangle over payment. We had paid in advance but they were asking for payment. That was sorted. We were given a key. Now at the apartment, the key didn't fit any of the doors. By luck we opened a garage door and found the apartment. Access was via a narrow and unsafe staircase. On entry it was dark and uninviting. There was no bedding for the sofa bed. The hotel manager was contacted and wanted more money for bedding. I ended up sleeping in my clothes with no bedding. There are so many other things to list, unsafe electrics, broken smoke detector. To much to list. Extremely poor. Why do Expedia promote this property?

Arrivé devant une porte de chantier avec un digicode fixé sur un montant en bois ça surprend pour un Appart'Hôtel. Juste un document Pdf avec une adresse, pas de code et pas n° de téléphone. Nous recherchon un autre Hötel on se dit que ça doit être une arnaque on se trouve devant un B&B pas trop loin en 15 mn nous avons une superbe chambre.

Le gérant a été très désagréable. J'ai tenté à plusieurs reprises d'avoir un contact humain. Pas d'échange correct. Un téléphone portable qui répond uniquement par SMS. Furieux qu'on ait pris votre centrale de réservation plutôt que de réserver directement notre " chambre " auprès de lui. Pas d'accueil. Juste une buanderie qui fonctionne non stop. D'un côté une porte d'entrée que les clients doivent veiller à bien fermer et de l'autre une porte de garage souvent grande ouverte sur la rue permettant à n'importe qui d'entrer dans l'établissement n'importe quand. Hall d'entrée froid et impersonnel. Un étroit escalier pas facile à gravir avec des valises et des marches en bois fragiles... Nous avions besoin d'une nuitée supplémentaire mais vu l'accueil désastreux nous avons préféré dormir ailleurs et nous avons trouvé un hôtel meilleur rapport qualité-prix et surtout un accueil humain et chaleureux à la hauteur de la belle ville de Troyes que nous avons beaucoup apprécié

Un séjour des plus agréables en plein centre ville. Accueil chaleureux, de très belles prestations, une literie incroyable. Moi qui ai des problèmes pour dormir, j'ai eu un sommeil profond et long, j'ai adoré ! L'appartement est décoré avec goût, on s'y sent bien. Je recommande vivement !

Au vu déjà de nombreux commentaires décevants, j en rajoute un autre. Tout d abord j ai louer un appartement dans son hôtel particulier, qui de prime abord me paraissait très bien. Quand nous arrivons, il y a un escalier en bois pas du tout pratique pour arriver a monter des bagages ( qui n' est pas spécifié dans l annonce pour les personnes a mobilité réduite) Nous arrivons dans l appartement tres mal éclairé et qui ne donne pas envie d y séjourner, et avec seulement 2 couverts et un verre disponible. Je demande au propriétaire d avoir un autre appartement plus grand, qu il me donne avec bien sûr un surplus comme convenu entre nous. Dans l appartement un froid de canard, tous les chauffages étaient éteints, le propriétaire m indique que ça va chauffer dans quelques heures. Je rentre le soir, il fait 14 degré dans l appartement avec des chauffages que j avais mis a 28 degrés et de plus la télévision est cassée, entouré avec du scotch sur le côté et qu elle ne fonctionne pas. Le propriétaire revient je lui indique qu il va falloir faire qqchose car je ne peux pas rester dans ces conditions de location, il me donne un autre appartement plus grand au 3eme étage au vu des désagréments avec encore des escaliers de plus en plus inaccessible a monter. Nous rentrons dans l appartement qui est de nouveau pas chauffé avec une température glaciale. J essaie de trouver un accord avec lui pour me faire rembourser car je ne veux pas rester ici et il ne veut pas négocier.

Horrible séjour, chambre extrêmement humide sous les combes. Je me réveille le matin avec mon pantalon moite de par l'humidité. Ce changement de température a eu pour effet de me faire tomber malade. En outre, je peux signaler de légère tache sur les draps (qui ont survécu aux lavage, les draps était tout de même lavé avec des petits cheveux Eviter la chambre T32 !!

Endroit très agréable en plein coeur de la ville historique dans une rue au calme. Accueil gentil et disponible. Lieu atypique dans une maison ancienne avec un patio intérieur agréable. Petit déjeuner maison (en plus de le chambre). J'ai eu la chance d'être surclassé. Seuls points négatifs : La plomberie est un peu défaillante, la télé ne possède pas de Replay (tnt).

Un logement bien situé pour visiter Troyes. Mais la visite de cette jolie ville n'a pas pû avoir lieu au grand regret des enfants. Notre séjour en famille a dû être intermpu, principalement, a cause de l'incompatibilité du logement avec une présence de jeunes enfants. D'autres part, la propreté du bien laissait a désirer. Le système de chauffage degageons des odeurs de brûlé ainsi qu'un détecteur de fumée démonté et non fonctionnel. Je déconseille cette appartement/hôtel. Si cette location vous intéresse tout de même, prévoyez un budget déception car vous ne serez jamais indemnisé. Merci a l'équipe hotels.com d'avoir essayer d'avoir cette indemnisation. Enfin, je préfère ne pas partager les photos.

The aparthotel is convenient to touring the city of Troyes and is located on the pedestrian route of the city. While the stairs to the apartments are steep and narrow, that was a minor concern for us. The apartment was very quiet, the bed was incredibly comfy, and we thought it was a perfect base for exploring Troyes! The management of the hotel were extremely welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return!

Brand new conversion, but some areas not finished. Great location. Lovely ancienne building. Old stairs not great for large suitcases so use smaller cabin/hand luggage type or soft bags. Our main concerns are a clean bathroom and a good mattress. 5 stars on both.
