Centrally located just a short drive from both the north and south coasts, wonderful beaches, quaint harbours, pretty villages and stunning coastal paths. Take in the scenery on the King Harry Ferry over to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula or a boat trip on the River Fal. Whether you like to be in the water, on the water or just by the water, there is something to suit everyone. From paddle boarding or kayaking to surfing and body boarding. There is a choice of National Trust properties and gardens close by as well as the Eden Project.



In Cornwall’s capital city of Truro, you will find the stunning Truro Cathedral towering above the rest of the city, enjoy shopping in the many chain stores, speciality shops and markets. You may be lucky enough to visit when the local produce markets or continental markets are in town and can often be found on Lemon Quay. Truro is also home to the fantastic Royal Cornwall Museum and ’The Hall for Cornwall’ which hosts theatre productions and shows as well as a four-screen cinema. Take time to explore the cobbled streets, beautiful gardens and historic buildings.
